Shola at Designer Wedding Planner organised our wedding in Central London back in September. We engaged Shola when the planning became too stressful for my partner and I. We had an intimate day of only 50 guests in the stunning Landmark Hotel. She curated a selection of knowledgable and reliable vendors from the Florist to the furniture and linen hire as well as coming up with great ideas for favours and place names etc everything was lovely. Had our meeting with Shola the wedding planner at Designer Wedding Planner she is awesome, put us at ease, talked to us- not at us explained everything and discussed budgets and what we expected and wanted for our big day she knew exactly how to make our day so special. We have just booked her for her hands on 6 months preparation service so she will hand hold and guide us right up to the big day and beyond. I know she will make us some savings as she has all these suppliers in her book. I cant wait until May 2015 for my wedding now, as Colin and I feel we can call on Shola day or night for support and as a friend to get us through.Thank you Shola. Shola planned our day start to finish- it was superb - I understand the other reviews and completely agree- she works tirelessly and has been our rock during this beautiful moment between my wife and I. Can't be more happy with how Shola ran the day and the prep before hand- Grooms don't not tend to do much as it is at weddings but with my lovely wedding planner I really did nothing except turn up! My new wife also had an enjoyable time prior to the wedding as as our advisor, friend and wedding planner sorted it all out.Thanks Sholax More...

What do you love most about your job?
Meeting my bride and groom with their family - working through their worries helping to plan a great day and executing this with my team to ensure all goes excellently well and we have a great day.
Seeing the couple's faces when they see each other and also their wedding room and following on from that their joy at the end of the day that all has gone really well.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had a great passion for meeting people in a lovely relationship. I find that by talking to couples about their dreams and wishes for their wedding day, event or even their baby shower, we are able to complement each other, and they are able to fully relax and enjoy their day knowing we have everything covered.
I love working for myself, being able to put in a lot of work, knowing it is for the success of my business and the happiness and satisfaction of my clients.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are a dedicated team with lots of experience and happiness.
We simply really just love what we do.
I am often seen as a "mother" figure with a good sense of reason and understanding. I am able to get the most difficult members of the parties to join together and make the best of the day.
We make sure there is fun in the day as well as ensuring the day is run as planned.
I tend to go over and above the money paid to me as I simply want the couple to get value for money and I am in love with love -so no holds barred - we simply have to have the best day ever and with my team in control, we see difficulties before they arise and we mitigate against this. We advise, support and encourage our couples to be the best hey can and have the best day they dreamed of.
We are not the cheapest on here, but we are one of the best, we are real people, not just newbies, we also care about the couple and are not in this just for the money.
We plan weddings and events to a price AND to a standard.
