DD Bathrooms

19th Dec 2017 – Bathroom finished today! When I look for a tradesman (having been raised by a good one!!) I look for quality of workmanship, sincere advice on products and options, flexibility, desire and genuine care to put the requirements of the customer first as opposed to making the job easier for themselves, ability to ‘work clean’ in my home and respect it, honesty and openness to question some of my own bad ideas, complete reliability e. g. they start the job and finish it and don't dive off to do other bits, polite and friendly, highly professional, pass on their trade discounts and totally reliable in communicating.I have only come across two tradesmen (aside from by dear old Dad) who have met all of my requirements. Dale of DD Bathrooms is one of them.All the work done exceeded my standards as did their conduct. I highly recommend this company. I had a large bathroom job that needed doing and from the start Dale from DD Bathrooms was honest and constantly communicating with me so I knew he could be trusted to tackle such a job. After knocking a wall through to extend Dale and his assistant Luke spent a good time making sure I was going to have a beautiful final product by making everything straight and well prepped. Dale was informative and kept me involved right through the process. The overall finish was stunning, from the accurate tile work to the final finishing touches of the bathroom detail. Dale was friendly and gave me lots of advice and guidance throughout and nothing was too much for him. Basically, I would recommend DD Bathrooms because they never let me down and completed the job to absolute perfection. Additionally they were very tidy and clean. We had an old shower mixer that didn't work and wanted it replacing but without the trouble of breaking tiles - Dale was really helpful with suggestions and fitted a new thermostatic mixer shower to replace the bath taps. All done in a morning at a reasonable price. Recommended. More...

Where do I start... the bathroom is fantastic, very very tidy workmen! I have two small children and the work being done didn't disrupt them at all. They were friendly, trustworthy, reliable and professional. They asked me prior, about things that may have looked odd so we could decide together what would work best (very pleased with this, as some things I had chosen may not have been in the centre etc). I found DD bathrooms via FB recommendations. Am I glad I found him. He's transformed my bathroom into what I can only describe as state of the arts! Dale seriously knows his stuff. I had other fitters telling me I couldn't change the external plumbing (from the 50's) cause it would be too big a job! Well Dale and his team did it in less than a day! He gave me a starting date, stuck to it and finished on schedule despite my adding another days worth on work on when he started. Great guys who are easy to deal with and did a fab job completely refurbishing two bathrooms in our victorian house. The normal minor snagging issues were also very quickly resolved with no fuss. Worth booking them in advance as good people like this stay busy! So yes, I do recommend them, and in fact they are currently rescuing a different job that was abandoned by a different tiler. I guess I should have waited a bit longer for their availability in the first place as the refurb has taken longer in the long run. Def worth giving them a call. More...

I have used DD bathrooms twice, they are very good on price and offer a lot of advice if you are unsure of certain things, they also can get the products a lot cheaper than shops, the main reason I use them is they are excellent at tiling and everything lines up and looks great, highly recommend Gary & Dale.
