How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
This depends upon the condition and construction so we would assess this on a site visit.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
A site visit is required and if suitable for conversion then we would advise on if any Planning Permission is needed. The layout and access requirements would be discussed including how best to deal with the window design in relation to the existing building.
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
The roof pitch is important as below 30 degrees is generally unsuitable unless box dormers are added to the rear elevation.
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
A site visit to measure the building is required to produce existing plans, sections and elevations of the building including a client meeting to confirm the accommodation required eg 1 or 2 bedrooms , en-suite bathroom.
Whether dormer windows would be acceptable to the LPA if planning permission is required. An assessment if the loft conversion would need a planning application. A Budget Costing of the work would be given and the structural requirements and whether any party wall notices are required.

Producing high quality design solutions and good communication between the client and other members of the design team and a satisfied customer upon completion of the project.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to concentrate on architectural design and management.
