Guttering is an essential part of any home. It protects your roof from water damage and keeps you dry inside by preventing leaks before they occur, but what happens when something goes wrong?

You could have a blockage in one or more sections of your gutters. This will lead to further problems such as damp and mould on the walls below it or even such issues inside your home. This is due to standing water seeping through the wall cavities and gaps in your brickwork.

Most of the work will be carried-out from ground level where possible, for safety, using a powerful Wet and Dry Gutter Vacuum system. This allows me to remove as much debris, dirt, leaves and water etc, as possible from your guttering, ensuring a thorough clean.

My state of the art Gutter Vacuum system has a mounted Inspection Camera. This allows me to really see what is going on inside your gutters.

Windows (including frames, sills and doors), will be cleaned using a Pure Water system (Demineralised Water). This is the best product to use to achieve a flawless, streak-free finish, along with some good old elbow-grease.

Using normal tap water makes it difficult to achieve a flawless finish. This is because tap water contains minerals and dissolved solid particles. This dries to leave minerals on the surface which is the reason for hard water stains.

It is important to keep a clean conservatory. These rooms are exposed to the elements so a build-up of dirt occurs on glazing panels, inside the gutters and around the seals. All of which can cause or hide problems that we may have noticed had the conservatory been clean.

I use a Pure Water system (Demineralised Water), to get the best results possible from the clean, along with safe, non-caustic cleaning solutions, to help shift any stubborn dirt (If needed).

The more light that hits a panel, the more power it will generate. Due to the upwards angle of solar panels, they are more prone to bird droppings and a build-up of general dust and dirt, that does not wash off with just rain. It is important to clean solar panels in order to protect and maintain your investment.

I will always look to avoid using chemicals and soaps to assist with the cleaning of solar panels. If your panels are less than 10 years old then they will likely still have a valid Warranty, which will become void if chemicals are used. Soaps can leave a film on the panels which can attract dirt and give it something to cling to, which will effect the longevity of the clean.

I use a Pure Water system (Demineralised water), as this is the best product to use to achieve a flawless, streak-free finish, along with some good old elbow-grease. Pure Water is noncorrosive, helping to extend the lifespan of your solar panels. Also it is not an electrical conductor ensuring the safety of the Cleaning Technician during the cleaning process.

**No Harsh Chemicals, Soaps Or Detergents Used**

Pressure Washing:-
When it comes to cleaning your home, there are few methods as effective and as versatile as pressure washing. Pressure washing is a quick and simple way to remove all types of dirt that contribute to surface weathering and restore the appearance and longevity of your exterior surfaces.

A regular clean of your homes exterior surfaces such as, Driveway, Patio, Decking etc, is a must. Not only does it ensure that it looks good but the removal of dirt, biofilm, moss etc, also helps to maintain its condition and ensure that it lasts as long as possible.

Pressure washing also removes slippery substances like algae and other debris, but regular treatments are part of an overall preventative maintenance effort that can help you avoid injuries from slipping.

The best way to keep your family breathing clean air is by using a pressure washer. Pressure washing blasts away dirt, grime and other harmful substances that maybe lurking on your exterior surfaces. Keeping you and your family safe from potential health hazards like mold spores which can cause respiratory problems in children.

Re-Sanding: Once some surfaces, such as block paving etc, have had time to fully dry following the cleaning process (Approximately 2 to 3 days with good weather), then a re-sanding of the joints/ gaps between the blocks will need to be carried-out using Kiln-Dried Sand. This helps to prevent movement between the blocks and helps with drainage.

Soft Washing:-
The soft washing system uses chemicals and water mixture which can break down stubborn adhesive coverings such as biofilms on any exterior surface.

It is a more gentle way to clean your surfaces compared to Pressure Washing and uses far less water.

As effective as a Pressure Washing is, it is not 100% effective at removing all biofilms and moss spores. It may give the illusion that the surface (s) is clean but the only way to be sure that there is no more moss spores or biofilms remaining, is to treat the surface (s) with chemical cleaning and sanitisation solutions. These will kill off any remaining moss spores and biofilms on your surfaces, from their root systems, which will contribute to the longevity of the clean.

The best cleaning solution to use for a lot of surfaces is a Biocide. This is the only treatment work that will help to prevent any re-growth, following the cleaning process. It will also continue to clean your surfaces for up to a further 12 months and help prevent re-growth for up to approximately, 3 to 5 years.

This treatment work not only improves the look of your surface (s) but it also cuts down on maintenance needed and increase its life span.

What is Biofilm?: A Biofilm is a collection of microbial communities enclosed by a matrix of extra cellular substances adhering to natural and man-made surface substrates. To you and me, Green Algae, Red Algae, Black Algae, Lichens, Moss, Mould, Mildew etc.

When these biofilms colonise on your surfaces it will cause a dark, almost black discolouration to the appearance of the surface (s).
