My name is David Molyneux and I'm currently offering online guitar lessons

I graduated from Brighton Institute of Modern music in 2013 and have been playing and teaching professionally since that time.

I have been teaching in schools and privately in the south london area since 2014, however, since the pandemic I have transitioned my private teaching online/remote

I am comfortable teaching students from a beginner to grade 8 and beyond. Lessons are tailored to the students and I believe my greatest asset as a teacher is helping students to develop their own voice on the guitar whilst also making sure the core principles of technique, theory etc are covered.

I a firm believer that it is my job to help students develop in to the musician they would like to be, and I am comfortably teaching a wide variety of contemporary genres from pop, blues and country to jazz, rock and neo soul.

I am currently offering both acoustic and electric guitar lessons and I am currently using Trinity and Rockschool grade pathways, but if students do not want to pursue guitar grades that is not an issue.

Material for lessons are tailored to the student, and supporting resources provided to help with learning at home.

Lessons fees:

- £40.50 per 60 minute lesson (musicians union rate)

- £20.25 for 30 minute lesson

- A trial lesson is available for £20 for 1 hour and £10 for 30 minutes. There is no obligation to continue beyond this point if you do not wish to.
