David was recommended to me by a friend 18 months ago, as I was suffering knee joint pain and was having mild mobility issues. I was envisaging an early joint replacement or worse. I have seen a massive improvement in my condition, I no longer need pain killers or anti-inflammatory tablets as David has consistently targeted my weakness and built strength in the surrounding muscles to support the weak knee. In addition he has improved my posture and back strength, my core stability and all over body strength. His knowledge of nutrition and diet is excellent and his lifestyle advice is often ahead of the game. He also won't quit on me!! Due to personal and professional difficulties, my commitment often wavers, but he consistently encourages, coaxes and (as necessary) bullies me into making fitness a priority in my life. I started working with Dave Mason, Personal Trainer, 12 months ago with a view to improving core and leg strength over winter to support my road cycling ambitions. In addition, I was keen to lose some weight, improve muscle tone and posture.

Dave began by identifying where mobility and flexibility needed to improve to form the foundations on which to build improved strength. Supervising exercises designed to bring about the improvements and ensuring the right technique very quickly paid dividends and allowed strength work to be introduced.

Over the course of six months I exceeded all my goals in terms of weight loss and improved muscle tone and posture and repeatedly improved on personal bests with weights. In addition to supporting my cycling, this made me look and feel younger with greater energy.

Between sessions, Dave would send helpful hints and tips or links to exercise and dietary advice. In sessions, he was consistently 100% focused on me, my programme, my technique and maximising my benefits and gains.

Dave brings a wealth of knowledge, skill and experience to all that he does whilst reassuringly he is constantly striving to learn and improve in what he does and how. I cannot recommend Dave highly enough as a personal trainer. Due to a cycling accident and surgery, my sessions have ceased but when able, I will definitely be going back to PT sessions with Dave again.

David is a first class personal trainer! His knowledge is incredible and his attention to detail makes him worth every penny. He very quickly established how my body works and what it requires to get stronger, leaner and generally better! He is focused more than 100% in sessions which is a breath of fresh air. I have been training with Dave for 4 months now and the results have been amazing. I am stronger, more mobile and have already achieved an objective that has eluded me for years - to be able to touch my toes!

He puts together personalised and challenging routines that work best for me and it has made a world of difference. I would highly recommend Dave and look forward to continuing my progress with him.

David is an astute, sharp
And caring PT who gives the client 1000% . I loved the different styles and methods to make you train whilst making it enjoyable (most of the time) 😂

I feel stronger, fitter, happier, more flexible.

David always has so much advise and knowledge on foods/diet etc and managing sleep and stress.

All in all a great PT with a superb manner and a good sense of humour .

Recommended to all of all ages and backgrounds .

David is an excellent trainer. He is very knowledgeable of health, diet and workout regimen. He is also constantly checking new methods and trends for sessions.
He takes the time to explain the science behind a workout and listens to your personal goals, strengths and weaknesses.
I would 100% recommend him as a trainer whatever your goal is.

This man changed my life! And found me a new love for exercise.
I used to skirt around the edges in the gym (stereotypical treadmill, rowing: boring) . Now I lift weights, squat like my life depends on it and I have the confidence to show my body off with pride.
