We contacted David for Wedding Photography services in 2012, he visited us at our home showed us some lovely albums and explained how we could make the best pictures for our day. He knew the venue, Matfen Hall, really well and had obviously worked their several times before. We spent ages looking for the right photographer, then we came across Dave's website. We decided to invite him round for a chat and from the moment we met him we knew he was the photographer for us. Helpful, friendly, informative and chatty, it was obvious he knew exactly what he was doing. At our Wedding all our guests commented on how good Dave was, fitting in with the ceremony, helping with<span id="moreReview465823" class="hide"> the older guests and making the photography flow with his gentle sense of humour. We booked David through Groupon in Aug 2012 for our wedding Oct 2013. From the beginning it was difficult to get in touch with him. The week before the wedding we did not hear from him until 24 hours before our wedding where he cancelled due to his wife being in hospital. We then found out that his wife was not in hospital but that he had double booked the day and was at someone elses wedding.<span id="moreReview464731" class="hide"> We luckily managed to get another photographer but others have not been so lucky. It was a pleasure dealing with Dave from the first time we contacted him, and after our first meeting we had no doubt that we wanted him to be our photographer, because he is highly personable as well as being extremely professional and talented. I think it's fair to say that neither of of us are fans of having our photograph taken, but he really put as at ease, blended in so well that we<span id="moreReview459177" class="hide"> considered him one of the guests, and also somehow managed to produce many photographs that we were very happy with. Booked David for our wedding in july. We had a engagement shoot some months earlier and David put us at ease straight away. On the wedding day David was fantastic and all of our guests commented about his outgoing friendly personality and professionalism. We have since received our photos and they are excellent. He even went the extra mile and revisited the venue after the event to recapture<span id="moreReview449853" class="hide"> some back drops which he were not possible on the day. I first heard about David Bousfield Photography through Groupon and purchased an excellent value wedding package deal with an engagement photoshoot. We had our engagement photoshoot recently and we were really impressed with the quality of the photos. David was really fab on the day and creative with the pictures he took. We were looking for months for a photographer to capture our wedding day and didn't know who to pick, I contacted David and he was amazing from the first time we spoke made us feel very at ease straight away! He came round to meet us and discussed what we wanted and gave us ideas! I massively enjoyed shooting with David, inevitably as a photographer he knows what works best in photographs and therefore can help if anyone wanted to reconstruct their wedding photos - for example like the 'trash the dress' shoot I participated in. Definatly worth while to have him at the wedding or after the ceremony in order to produce beautiful photographs you can cherish for the rest of<span id="moreReview426016" class="hide"> your life.
