We won one of Allen's wedding packages by entering a competition. From the moment of first contact to say that we'd won, until the big day he was nothing but friendly & professional. We had meetings beforehand to go over how many guests were coming, the location and who we wanted in pictures etc. Although he took pictures on our wedding day, he also fitted in well amongst our guests and always had a smile on his face. The pictures are great and we'd recommend the Excelsior package. Trying to only pick 40 or so for the album is so tough as we got well over 300 back but they're beautiful and Allen was an absolute pleasure from start to finish! We had Allen booked for our wedding at the end of November, however with the second lockdown announced brought our wedding forward to the Tuesday evening before it started. I phoned Allen Monday to ask if he would he available Tuesday (30 hours notice!) to capture the evening, and he replied of course I am which was a massive relief! Allen was amazing on the evening, blending in, flexible, and taking pictures of everything we wanted. Didn't like the Moch Iced Coffee cause I asked for easy ice and the coffee was too warm, when the coffee itself is supposed to be cold regardless if it has ice or not. The chocolate cake was dry and didn't have flavor, I liked the cheesecake and the monster shake. That's a point in their flavor. I dont think I'll be coming back for dessert here.. More...

My favorite will always be the strawberry croissant. And the price for it is more than reasonable. Their unicorn cakes are adorable and adds to the ambiance when on display in their cases. First, I will start by saying that they need to reevaluate their price point. Way too pricey for what they offer. The service was ok but the staff needs a lesson in preparing the cakes and pastries in a more sanitary manner. That would explain the "B" rating from the Health Department. The staff not using gloves, using their phones and playing with their hair while prepping pastries and cakes says enough to me and I will not be back!! The lack of attention to detail is really upsetting when you expect a high quality of service and goods from a place that is supposed to be good!! At this pace the company will eventually fail!! Allen is a lovely friendly man and from our first phone call we knew we would be happy to have him as our photographer . I had been looking for a while but was struggling to find a fair priced photographer until i looked at Allen's website and his wedding packages where very reasonable and he also had some great reviews .During the months leading up to the wedding he was always available to speak to me if i had any queries and on the day was punctual and was happy for us to also give ideas on what photos we wanted . Purchased several cakes over the past year. Love their strawberry shortcake, and cupcakes. Tarts look awesome, but I haven't tried them yet. Staff have always been helpful and polite. Prices are responsible, and our family highly recommends them. Yes, Ralph's is cheaper, but I support local small merchants because they are important to our economy and I happen to think they taste better too.They also did a special cake for my parents 50th. I booked Allen for my wedding on the 4th August 18.
Myself and my Husband were very please with all that he did. he arrived in plenty of time and got lots of pictures of the wedding party and guests before the wedding. he was very professional and instructed us to pose/stand in the best places to make our pictures just want as we wanted them. The pictures of the wedding were available very quickly as did the disk. we will be asking Allen to make our album once we have selected our favorite pictures.
