What an excellent pub. What a pleasure it is to put glitter dots on faces of those who want it on special occasions! Thankyou Adam and Liz!

I think of it as my local, even though I live 50 miles away. One of the best pubs ever - period.

A welcoming, family-run pub: lively and fun, with regular live music and events, a cracking cheeseboard with a wide choice of British cheeses, and of course, pretty much any alcoholic libation you'd care to sup on! Also pop-up food stalls at the weekends! More...

An absolutely great pub. I consider myself lucky to have this as my 'local'. Brilliant staff, an eclectic collection of locals and regulars, many of whom get involved in creating and running community events. For the ale drinkers it has great regular beers and ever changing guest beers, it's won 2 local CAMRA pub of the year awards recently. A good selection of lagers, wines and spirits. And cheese. Lots of cheese. And cheese related events. Mostly silly, cheese related events. More...

This is a great pub in so many ways - it's unusual ,different. I had absolutely no idea what was going on outside in the garden in terms of layout, but loved it all the same as there were so many places to sit in comfort and out of the rain. It all felt inside and out very friendly. Above all though for me it was the beer. This is a place that knows how to present a proper pint and look after its ales. Well priced as well. Went to two other pubs in the same area but neither were a match on the Lamb. I will be back . More...

The Lamb is more than a pub - it's the centre of the community, the home from home, the refuge when days are dark. "Warm welcome" doesn't even begin to describe the care and love which form a huge part of the atmosphere here - in the seven years or so that I've been frequenting this gloriously quirky, effortlessly hospitable venue, I have come to call, not only the regulars, but the patrons - dear friends. I cannot recommend highly enough, nor express my love with words alone. More...

Proper local pub. Expect a warm welcome whether local or not. Good ales, great bar staff, friendly regulars. Top marks from me.

I haven't enjoyed a night out at a pub as much as our night out at The Lamb for a very long time. Run by some seriously good people and with a wonderful diversity of locals in attendance (a healthy pub has a diverse cross-section of people of all ages and backgrounds frequenting it imho! ), this is a home-from-home type pub, full of good people, just like we used to have in Surbiton a long time ago. The bar staff were lovely. Nice outside area for smokers. The grub on the night we went was lush (delish burgers). The ladies and I all had a great time and the hospitality was very much appreciated. Thank you so much! More...

Always a warm welcome and often a lovely surprise, in the form of a nice pint of ale, a live band or a pop up kitchen in the garden.

The biggest negative of the Lamb is that they tend to kick you out every night and not let you live there. And they sometimes tell me to keep my voice down in the garden but I am exceptionally loud.

A pub lost in a time bubble, but in oh such a good way. A really friendly bohemian experience. Can't wait to see what the Irish folk night is like

Bohemian, laid back, friendly, great beer, always at the heart of local community events. Slightly scruffy is part of its charm. Lovely pub cat. Going there is just like being part of a wonderful family. More...

A truly independent 'Proper' pub, lovely real ales, cheese boards. Lots of music events, quirky nights, Giant games.
Its a very mixed crowd which is perfect, a large half covered and heated garden is available to relax in.
Child friendly during the day.
The best pub in the world...... FACT!
