Relationship and Marriage Counselling

Jackie was so friendly from the second she appeared on our screen, she was really easy to talk to and put us both at ease straight away. We have only had one session so far but have already booked the next one in. I dully believe that Jackie will help us through our problems. More...

Couples Counselling

I was very nervous to start counselling with my husband. Jackie made us both feel comfortable. It was the first time I’d listened to my husband talk about his infidelity. We are looking forward to continuing to work with her and move forward in our marriage. More...

Counselling

Jackie has been amazing and patient helping me to sort my head out. I'm very lucky to have her as my counsellor, couldn't wish for better.

Jackie made starting therapy easy when I felt it was the toughest thing I could do. Her warm smile & patience enabled me to go on a journey to move forward with my life. The great thing about my time with Jackie was it was a journey which resulted in a destination with us both arriving at the same time. We were in sync the whole way through and she was always available and during the tough times when she became my crutch she didn’t ever let me down but she also taught me to stand on my own two feet. I have since visited Jackie again when a had further trauma in my life with my father passing suddenly - her ability to retain information about your life & make you feel the most important person is invaluable when you trust in someone her level is above and beyond what I have experienced, especially give the fact she must see multiple people per day. I would highly recommend her and without doubt suggest don’t delay contact her today you are worth investing in yourself. Jackie is worth investing in above all else. More...

Whats not to love.....You get an excellent therapy thats like being the queen of sheba for a while, BUT it doesn't stop there because therapy stays with you, it carries on working all day, whether you have the reflexology or Reiki (there are Many more therapies) you'll leave feeling pampered and happy from the inside out. The building is very old, and you can "feel" the positive loving energies as soon as you walk through the small rickety door, the rooms are exquisitely old and characterful yet made warm and inviting. If you want a place that is a haven away from the hustle and bustle, then you can't go wrong with The Cottage Healing Centre . It does what it says on the tin....It heals. More...

Q&As

The 'light bulb moment' when a client or a couple recognise their way forward and they begin to know their own path

I had suffered with depression from the age of twelve.
After six sessions of counselling, I knew I had to find out more. I went back a few weeks later. Then I started my training as a Psychotherapist/Counsellor.
Why don't they teach you this stuff in schools !!
So much about my life and my choices would have been different.
It took five years to qualify, then another ten to continue my experience by training in other areas, and for the last six years I have been in private practice

Counsellors are like dentists or GP's, no one size fits all. It's about personalities. It's about not judging or giving advice, plenty of people you already know will be able to do that for you. Listening to your story from your perspective helps you to see your own path more clearly.
Counselling is expensive and I feel that when clients come to me they are getting the very best support I can give them, I want them to succeed so I explain the process as we go along, sometimes with handouts to help with understanding their journey. The tools you learn are for life and the client can move forward confidently.

I can provide face to face service based at CV9 2BG on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays from 10am-7:30pm (I am flexible, and can accommodate other days and times to suit you)
Alternatively, I am used to working virtually via video link.
I use Zoom which is encrypted and confidentiality is secure. I can use other encrypted platforms

I've completed a safeguarding course. I take weekly tests. My room is set out following all clear government guidelines in place. I send this information to the client prior to a face to face session. Every safeguard is assured. The client will only come into contact with me.
