So far all the events coordinators and staff I've been fortunate to have worked with on events I've been organizing since 2012 were all so accommodating and hands-on to make our events possible and successful. Thank you and hope to continue this working relationship. More...

Today at 16:00 A BIG THANK YOU to the Copthorne Hotel Plymouth The hotel was fabulous and from the second I entered; I felt welcome and at home. TripAdvisor The staff were all so kind and lovely and made me feel as though my audacious and unusual requirements were absolutely acceptable. A chap called Bryn was working on the reception and I spoke to him twice on the phone before even arriving. From the get go he was SO friendly and SO cheerful and put me at ease right away, and this was all despite a late arrival after talking with him almost 12 hours before. I was greeted with a big smile and extra warm welcome and made to feel so safe and secure and like I could ask for anything I might need. A special heart felt thank you there fore goes to Brynley Lane who made the trip what it was. He really went above and beyond to cater for my personal special needs and as someone who suffers from anxiety , autism and other disclosed difficulties; this was something I REALLY needed. He was quite possibly one of the nicest and warmest of people I have come across through hotel stays and I travel and live all over the globe so this is quite a statement. Breakfast was delicious , plenty of meat an meat free vegan alternatives. House keeping were friendly, attentive and the room itself had a large yet cosy feel with sea views , all the tea coffee and biscuits you could need a big television for ideal relaxation I used the room to work from as I work online and the wifi was also very good .. I am just a very happy girl. Many thanks again , I will even be extending my stay and I look forward to one more night of relaxation and escapism. My stay really has been the ideal break I need. Stayed for one night only with my son but within our one night stay I can't fault a thing. Arrived to the hotel at 6pm, got a parking space straight away. Bonus! For £7.50 a night/day I think that's very reasonable compared to some places we have stayed. Check-in was very pleasant, asked for a restaurant menu, got one straight away but there were no children's menus to hand however the lady said one would be sent to our room straight away. Our room was very clean, had a great nights sleep, so quiet and room temperature was spot on! Ate in the restaurant that night, I'm so fussy regarding carbonara and the carbonara I was served was just delicious, my son loved his pizza too! Would definitely stay again! More...

Nice hotel, the rooms are looking a little tired. The only real let down was the breakfast. The hot food was cold. They ran out of breakfast tea bags fairly early. The flasks of coffee & hot water were all coffee! The only hot water was from a coffee machine hidden round the corner More...

My husband and I recently had our wedding here. It was fantastic service from great to finish. We did have a few wedding coordinators due to people leaving but handover notes were left and who ever replaced the last knew what to do. We had Vincent as our coordinator and he kept in contact at all times making sure that everything was correct and to what was arranged. We didn't see much of him on our wedding day but I can say the staff were really great and friendly. We would like to say a big thank you to Stuart who was there every step of the day. Our go to person. He was great and helped whenever we asked. The food was exceptional, both the wedding toast and the evening buffet. We would definitely go back again. Great service, great staff and we had an amazing day. Thank you. More...

We stayed at the hotel for a wedding, The good... The room was a very good size, 2 big mirrors, bathroom a good size, bath and shower, kettle, big comfy bed, was clean, big windows that let lots of light in but also big thick curtains that kept light out :-) for 2 people staying you got 2 room keys.
There is only a couple of small bad points..
For 2 people staying there was 1 flannel, only enough milk, sugar and teabags for 1 cup, wifi you had to pay for, breakfast was another £13 per person (we paid £75 for room) parking was £2 for the night.. wifi and parking shouldve come with the price of staying.. otherwise i enjoyed my stay, staff were all friendly and helpful and hall for wedding for absolutely stunning.. thank you

Very accommodating and helpful as our first booking had to be cancelled due to weather conditions and we couldn't travel. I casually mentioned it would be my partners birthday and was surprised to see the room with balloons and a birthday card from the staff which was nice . All round a lovely room. Downside was paying for a parking space in the hotel car park and on our return from an evening out told "sorry, no spaces left". Copthorne, please don't double book parking spaces. It's not nice! That said it is my only complaint. More...

We stayed here as we coming t,o see a show at the Pavillion it was close to train station & town. We were on 4th floor, room was quiet and clean with views across Plymouth towards the hoe, plenty of choice for breakfast and the maid who attended the room was very pleasant and enquired if we had adequate complimentary tea, coffee etc. It was nice to find complementary shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash & moisturiser waiting in the bathroom, which was a nice touch, even down to the shower cap, as last hotel we stayed in did not supply any of these items. Did think the price of evening meals were a little on the high side, but would certainly stay again. More...

Polite friendly staff who are very helpful, at check in I found out that the room had not been for by our company, this was quickly rectified with a simple phone call. The room was a standard one but was spacious and comfortable, bathroom plenty big enough and the shower was the best I'd had in a hotel for many year. All in all Fantastic nights sleep woke up really chilled, would strongly recommend staying here, I would again. More...

The hotel is in an ideal location a few minutes walk from the Hoe and shopping. The food was excellent with alternative options to the buffet breakfast if required. Plenty of English and Continental food available for breakfast. The evening meal was just as good. The hotel staff were delightful as well as very knowledgeable and very polite. I would highly recommend this hotel. I stayed in a Club rom that was spacious and comfortable. A very clean and well presented bathroom with all the essentials. Tea and coffee facilities a safe and soft drinks and water fridge. Well done Copthorne. I will have no hesitation in booking this hotel again. I will look for the Copthorne brand in other locations. Our room was a standard one but was spacious and comfortable, a bonus to have a table and comfy chairs to sit at as well as a desk area. The hostess tray was well stocked. We had twin beds, they were large and very comfortable. The bathroom, although tired was extremely clean and very nice complimentary toiletries, nice big fluffy towels too. The breakfast was lovely, self service, but the staff were very pleasant and attentive, cook to order menu items arrived quickly, used crockery was removed regularly which was good when sat at a table for two. Although we were on the front of the hotel, facing the dual carriageway, we were not disturbed by the traffic noise, but the ceiling fan was welcome rather than opening the window. Ideally based for the shopping area and a good walk through to the Barbican and the harbour. More...
