I can highly recommended CCC as an estate agent. All of the staff are very professional, friendly and are always there to help. The lady who sold our house for us, Julia Bailey, was absolutely fantastic!! From the very first valuation with Sam to the very last post-sale conversation today, CC&Co have been nothing but exceptionally professional and helpful. We are lucky enough to live close to their office so popped in unannounced a few times and met many of the team members who were always friendly and very accommodating. When we selected to work with Cooke Curtis & Co to sell our flat in Autumn 2018, it was based on how all members of their team had conducted themselves throughout the initial enquiry process - no hard sell; answering questions where they could and signposting where they couldn't: straightforward customer service. Whilst their commission percentage was the highest we came across, we felt that the levels of their service to that point, before we were paying customers, were worth it. It proved to be an excellent decision. Communications continued to be easy, timely, and straightforward. We didn't have to chase anything through the process. There was great communication about upcoming viewings, including calendar invites that were easy to sync with our own family calendar system. And whoever we spoke to at the office was friendly, polite, and professional - and treated us like human beings (living in Cambridge, where the market tends to be quite buoyant, means that some agencies treat you as disposable). Best of all, we accepted an offer on our flat after just over three weeks - very quickly, compared to the speed of the market at that time. This was ideal for us as it enabled. us to secure our dream home. After the offer was accepted, the team at Cooke Curtis and Co continued to be helpful, proactive, friendly, and professional and helped with the process all the way through to contract exchange and getting the keys on our new place. I would recommend them to family and friends. Selling a house, and moving, is hard - and it's people who make it easier. I write this having JUST moved into our first family home purchased through Cooke Curtis, and I honestly cannot praise them highly enough. From the very outset, the initial viewing when we fell in love with our house, through to going in and picking up the keys in their office, they have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. Highly responsive, proactive, supportive, and - above all - human, they made an otherwise stressful process a whole lot easier to deal with. Unlike a much larger, more anonymous company, they take a real interest in your case and know its details intimately. We really felt like they were rooting for us throughout, and were pulling out all the stops on their end to help it all go smoothly. They also recommended an excellent broker, and - thanks to their combined help - we were able to complete our purchase within two months (ONE day before our scheduled move-out date from rented accommodation, I might add, so the stakes were high).
