Connells redesigned our main bathroom, ensuite and downstairs cloak room. They listened to all our requests, advised us of what was and was not possible. The fitter Paul was prompt, friendly and did a fantastic job. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend. Originally went to 3 large well known stores but found their procedures very stressful with what I thought was a normal process of having a kitchen installed they seemed to attach supplementary costs to everything including the kitchen sink pipe and wiring up a hob. Connells took all this stress away and everything they priced up was inclusive and they even over took the management of flooring, plastering etc so i didn't have to time manage anything. Fitter and electricians were also outstanding and took the care as to the expectations that they would expect. Nothing was ever too much trouble, even when I added a few extras whilst installation was taking place. Price of everything i believe worked out a lot cheaper than these big brand shops as nothing was hidden from the start, so everything was kept within budget. Just now waiting for hubby to give the nods up for a new bathroom 😀 Because everything was stress free I have to admit i did stress as I was sure something had been forgotten but I was reassured that the whole point of using this wonderful company was so they took over the stress from me, which they did. The installer did an excellent job of installing our new washbasin and base units, making good the existing tiling, re-working the external pipework, and cleaning up really thoroughly afterwards. We are delighted with the end result. Our appreciation also goes to the customer service staff for guiding us in our choice of products and materials, which have given the entire bathroom a new lease of life. More...

What inspired you to start your own business?
I previously worked for a large showroom chain and was disillusioned that I was not able to provide the level of customer service that I wanted; everything revolved around sales figures. I started Connells so I could revert back to old fashioned customer service and give every customer the time they deserved to make informed decisions regarding their installations.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients should come to us for a professional service at a good price and a quality product. We will not be able to compete with high street suppliers on price but we offer products that are superior in quality and our kitchens can last 20 years or more if they are looked after.
Being an independent showroom we have a large range of suppliers which allows us to offer a greater range of products.
We will manage the project from start to finish and organise every trade required to complete the installation to a high standard. All our tradespeople are subcontracted but all contracts are made with Connells so we deal with any issues that may arise you will never be in a position where no one is taking responsibility.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We wear masks when attending site and we only one family in the showroom at a time.
