The gym is brilliant, very clean, spacious and has all the equipment needed. All the machines are in a great working condition! The facilities available are wide and varied. Ben is an excellent, very professional Trainer. His knowledge, help and involvement make it easier to reach my goals.
So far a fantastic experience!

When you have set yourself ambitious goals, goals so ambitious that many would dismiss your aspirations as "impossible", the single best thing you can do to further that dream is *get the right trainer*.

It took me 3 years to pass the European speed test for ski instructors. Outside of skiing most people wouldn't know what this is. Roughly 10-20 people from the uk pass this test each year. Hundreds attempt it. They are all amongst the best skiers in the country.

It was a challenge in itself to work out what i needed. I lucked out in a way, as Ben found me.

With the benefit of hindsight what I needed was this: A trainer with sound technical knowledge on developing strength and athleticism without provoking injury; A willingness to learn about my particular sport and its specialisations; The ability to motivate me way beyond my comfort zone - again without provoking injury; And, in some ways most of all, the integrity to take me seriously and treat me as an athlete.

That's pretty much a description of Ben as a trainer.

In two summers with ben (I'm in France all winter) I went from being uncertain squatting 80k to a solid 150k 1RM squat; 180k deadlift and an 80k clean. All with a body weight of 83k.

That "1 dimensional" strength isn't useful to me on its own. It *has* to be functional for my sport. With careful programming, especially this last summer, my "on snow" coaches were blown away by the improvements in *sport applicable* strength.

The result was even better: 1.24 seconds inside the pass time in an event where success is usually measured in 100ths of a second.

2 years is a long time for a "part time" athlete to train for anything. Be assured that training with Ben will make that time very well spent indeed.
