Foundations For Patio
Our guideline installing Patios and why it is so important.
Excavate area below damp course 150mm to 200mm for foundations, laying bed and thickness. Foundations is important this will stop movement in the future. Compacted scalping or concrete and cement mix.
Installing Patios
Drainage is very important, Patios should have a fall this will take away any surface water, depending on the size soak away and drainage may need to be installed.
Laying bed, we use a full mortar bed and apply SBR Styrene Butadiene Rubber. What is SBR Febond SBR is a styrene-butadiene co-polymer latex specifically designed for use with with cementitious mixes and as a reliable water resistant bonding agent.
