I have worked with Dave at weddings, and would highly recommend. His photos are beautiful and effortless, and he had a real talent for playing with light and shadow. Plus he's such a nice guy, so you'll feel totally relaxed. Can't wait to work with you again! More...

Could not recommend Dave enough. From the moment we first met him as our wedding photographer, we felt relaxed and everything was handled very professionally. As a married man himself he not only knows what a couple is looking for in their wedding photographer, but actually gave us great tips about wedding organising in general. We absolutely LOVE the photos we've had back so far and can't wait to see the full selection. Dave - you're a legend More...

Dave has helped Aphotic with our logo, CD layout/design and band photography and each time has had a very fast turnaround at very high and professional quality, all reasonably priced too. Always happy to put in that extra bit of work for the small details as well. Highly recommended for any graphic design work and photography. More...

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret behind a great photo is ensuring that your client or subject are relaxed and having fun.
Capturing the candid moments often makes for the best photographs.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Do you have a location in mind?
Are you looking for a particular style of shot?
Is there a particular shot that is a must have?
What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting new people and really love being able to use local scenery in as many of my shots as possible. I love being able to capture smaller details that are often missed by others.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always been very creative through music and art and have recently discovered my passion for photography. I am still doing this as a part time secondary job but really hope to take my business further and make a full time career from it.
Why should our clients choose you?
Picking a photographe can always be tough and daunting but I love to meet prior to any shoots as it always helps break the ice and allows me to get to know you a little more and undersatnd fully what you are looking for. At the end of the day it's about what you want and ensuring you have fun achieving it.
Wedding Photography
Having a wedding photographer shouldn't be a stressful part of your day. It should be fun and relaxed.
For 90% of the day you shouldn't even know that they are there.
I can be there for as much or as little of the day that you would like and can capture all those fleeting moments that you won't want to forget.
Automotive Photography
With a passion for motorbikes (currently riding a Ducati 899 Panigale) and sports cars it's hard to not to want to photograph them.
I am available to cover anything from track day events to competitions to solo vehicle shots for business or personal use.
Concert Photography
Having played guitar in Scordatura for 10 years (a Glasgow Death Metal band) I have travelled across the UK and Europe performing on stage.
Now it’s time to be at the other side of the stage.
Having already shot bands in venues across Glasgow such as The Barrowlands Ballroom I'd love to photograph many more live events.
