Booked the upstairs of this cute little cafe for a pre-wedding, themed afternoon tea party! Absolute brilliant find, and Cathy was more then willing to help us with our event and managed to co-ordinate the afternoon tea with our ‘slytherin theme’ with Harry Potter touches! (Choc frogs/snitch cakes/ witch hats/meringues jellies) - she even sourced some halal chicken for our sandwiches! Room accommodated for the 12 of us perfectly and the girls at the cafe pretty much let us transform the room to how we wanted it to look! (We brought our own decor to add) So much potential in this place for little events.. baby showers/bridal parties/birthday parties etc Couldn’t have gone better! Pics to follow.. More...

Love the Cobbled Corner. Often call when we are out on our bikes. Always a good brew, brownies and currant slice are perfect. Breakfast always looks lovely but never had it as we have breakfast before setting out. We have been visiting for years and would recommend it 100%. Used to meet family there on Sunday mornings sadly they are in short supply now. Born and bred in Chipping, it will always be home. More...

A lovely stop off en route (by bike - cyclists are more than welcome, or car) through the hill country of Bowland. Chipping is a lovely village and the cafe itself is quaint. It’s very basic - but that’s a selling point really, and the food is delicious. The staff were a little hassled on the day I was there and I didn’t quite get the smiley warm welcome others say they received. The teapots could do with a clean. But on the whole well worth the visit if you’re passing, though maybe not a trip specially. More...

Called in with my wife. Lovely vegetable broth soup with hot bread roll. Ordered a cafetiere for two, which came with plenty of coffee. Food good. We attended during a very quiet period mid week but were made to feel welcome. More...

I've not been in this establishment for a good 35 years, but it is every bit as good as I remember. The corned beef hot pot is epic, and the afternoon teas are a fantastic fusion of sweet and savoury. Needless to say, I won't be waiting another 35 years! More...
