I have purchased a couple of these cakes- one for myself and one as a gift. I needed a gluten free one and chose the Rummier one. It is delicious! Most gluten free cakes are dry and they go hard as soon as you open them. I keep having a nibble on this one and it is still fresh and soft. Elaine said that it will keep fresh for 6 months in its packaging- there is no way it will last that long for me to test it. I can highly recommend these rummy and rummier cakes. More...

As the days draw in and the weather gets colder there is really nothing nicer than a slice of this cake, heated in the microwave for 30-40 seconds (900W) and then adding to that some ice cream or cream, what ever is your fancy. I was recently gifted with some of Vies Jamaican Rum Cakes, the gluten free variety as well as the regular cake, both were equally delicious just slightly different in texture. I really enjoyed my gift that I went and preordered some for Christmas. Highly recommend and packaged beautifully too if you are buying as a gift. More...
