Signed up with Cleanhome St Albans in October, having been sold the 'carefully vetted, on hand immediately should you have any questions' line.
Unfortunately this didn't match up with what we experienced.
We are on our 3rd cleaner in 6 weeks. The company is extremely disorganised and doesn't seem to vet or communicate well with their team. Hiring a cleaning company was supposed to reduce our level of stress, not increase it, but sadly this hasn't been the case with Cleanhome St Albans.
When I spoke to Adam and told him I wished to terminate the contract I was told I would need to pay 4 weeks notice, which was not mentioned by Andrea before we started.
TLDR: Avoid, find yourself a more professional company.

We are so troubled by the fact you felt it necessary to leave such a negative review online damaging right at the heart of our small family business, without the opportunity to chat over circumstances and how things could have been improved or resolved quickly. We take customer feedback extremely seriously, it helps us to develop areas that we need to improving or changing methods where appropriate. The terms and conditions of the 30 day notice period was completely transparent upon signing the business terms at the outset. We deal with a heavy volume of interaction with both clients and cleaners round the clock. We are human and may make mistakes, it’s sad in this day and age that people forget this ‘human’ side and resort to words on a page without actually talking to each other. Nothing we did was wrong in fact we only tried to help you by providing another cleaner as quickly as we did. In this instance it seems our best wasn’t good enough and for that we apologise. We do consider our clients feelings and thoughts albeit in breach of the signed contract we shall delete the notice period from your account We wish you all the best...

What an absolutely fantastic team!!!!! I couldn’t recommend Andrea and Adam highly enough. They found me a cleaner very quickly, who was polite and punctual.
Unfortunately she was then unable to clean due to an issue with her car, and Adam immediately found another wonderful lady.
The team were careful to note down all the things that mattered to me in a clean, and ensured both cleaners were dog friendly too.
I have recommended them so many times and my friends are also thrilled. If only everyone delivered such great customer service!!

Like many family businesses that like to give that extra personal touch and to provide a service lead by interaction with people as opposed to all being done over the phone or online.
We visit every client in person to find exactly what they’re in need of to make sure we can meet & exceed their expectations with the personal bespoke level of service
We meet every client and cleaner in person and despite interviewing dozens of cleaners, due to the high standard our clients expect we only recruit 4 to 5 cleaners in the extensive search. We endeavour to make the difference providing a service second to none that our clients deserve.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All of our cleaners are distancing themselves in your property working in opposite ends of the flat or house.
They are always polite enough to ask to swap rooms if you may be in at the time of the clean and need to clean that particular room that you are in.
Always use antibacterial hand gels before cleaning and as they clean they will also be using any antibacterial products you would like to provide for surfaces and alike.
