I would not hesitate to recommend City Catering to anyone booking a working lunch. Chris and Tina took the trouble to come to our office to discuss our requirements and gave us some free samples before we had even placed our lunch order. Both the food and the customer service is excellent. We have two people food allergies, one gluten and one with a severe nut allergy and this was catered for. Our customers benefit from bespoke menus and tried-and-tested combinations, based on our years of experience in what works well and what people love to eat. Tailoring our food to your event is something that comes naturally to us, and the fun starts for our chefs when we hear about your plans.
What do you love most about your job?
Our passion stems from the way we’ve built our company – as a charitable business that genuinely seeks to make a positive impact on the community we operate within. Our underlying mission is to support children and vulnerable adults with nutritious, quality food that fuels their wellbeing – within Southampton and beyond. The service we provide to our business customers allows us to make a genuine difference in our community.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We’re a close-knit team of food devotees who have been creating and serving delicious food across Southampton since 1997.
Why should our clients choose you?
We’re passionate about customer service and great food experiences – whether that’s as simple as a cook-to-order omelette for a morning Board meeting, canapés and fizz for a 300-strong launch party, or an intricate four-course Directors’ dining event with table service for 20. Our cooking is underwritten by principled provenance, local sourcing, and a genuine concern for sustainability.

Our catering service includes everything you need to deliver a successful event: menu development, delicious food and refreshments, serving staff, glasses, ice buckets, tableware, crockery, cutlery and linens. We hope you enjoy exploring our menus; they've been created from the heart, entirely with you in mind.
Online Ordering
Order the food you love quickly and easily via our website. If you order from our à la carte menu, a member of our hospitality team will contact you after we have received your order. All orders receive a call once placed.
Event Catering
