I’ve trained with Chris for just over a year now and am happy to recommend him. I came to Chris with one request: ‘my physio says I have to do more resistance training and use the hex bar regularly’ and he has delivered on that front in his friendly and knowledgeable way! I’ve never struggled in getting myself along to the gym but what I’ve gained from Chris’ sessions has been spades of confidence in using squat racks, bar bells, trap bar, dumbbells, land mine press etc. Beforehand I was doing mainly swimming, functional movement, yoga, body weight work… which was fine up to a point, but Chris’ sessions have identified and filled a gap in my training really well and given me a sense of accountability and discipline for my own visits to the gym. I always look forward to our weekly sessions, and a big part of this is because Chris has planned what we’re going to do, and always has a positive friendly attitude. It’s amazing how much time is saved by having someone else to grab plates, bars, boxes, set things up – with the result that you do actually complete 3 full sets and find yourself hitting new PBs instead of repeating the same as you did the week before. Chris also sends a voice note at the end of each week. It’s a little recap of the session but also helps you keep the positive mindset you need to work towards your goals. If you’re still reading, it’s obvious that you are interested in maintaining and improving your fitness. I’ve had about 4 PTs in 11 years and each of them have been so different (but all good) – it’s worth talking to prospective PTs about what qualifications they have or are working towards, how long they have been training, and what you want to achieve! Chris is a fantastic coach with a real wealth of experience and knowledge in his field. His sessions are always well prepared and tailored to my needs, and they are always fun. He obviously enjoys what he does, and has succeeded in passing that enthusiasm to me (unbelievable but true). And he provides great support outwith training sessions helping me over some of the challenges, answering questions and being there to help me in my way when it's tough. I have been working with Chris for a year and I have lost weight, improved my fitness levels beyond my expectations and changed body shape and have more confidence in myself. I've been working with Chris over the past 3 months. I've went from 82kg to 76kg in that time at a steady pace. Chris focuses your workouts on helping you gain strength and learn the equipment around the gym which has definitely improved my workout experience which used to be doing the same routine everytime. Chris is very approachable and has welcomed every single stupid thought/question that I've asked about calories, deficits and water weight. His online plan is definitely as flexible as it is an affordable way to to hit your training targets! I trained with Chris from October to December 2019 and he was a great help keeping me on track with my fitness goals. He was able to adapt the training to accommodate pre-existing injuries and to avoid any new ones.

I've been training with Chris since October 2019 and he has helped me shed almost 10KG so far. Chris is very approachable and adaptable. even under the current circumstances with the COVID-19 he has adapted my program to excercise at home. Chris is always available to answer any questions relating to diet and excercise. I have been training with Chris for almost a year now and his approach has gotten me great results. Having sat down and discussed what my goals were, the imbalances I had in my body and exercises I liked and didn't, Chris drew up a tailored workout plan which I'm still following to this day and has been getting me the results I was wanting. He has helped me tremendously to firmly grasp the nutrition side of things too and keeps in contact to make sure things are going as planned and whenever I have had any questions about anything on the programme he's always really quick to respond. At the beginning of the year I wanted to improve my overall health and eating habits. I had been messing around with diets for a couple of years thinking that I was getting somewhere but I would very quickly fall back into the pattern of snacking and eating the wrong things. I was in the very fortunate position that I knew Chris from school but he made the whole process very easy and straight forward and took the time to explain each step and the reason for making certain changes. I live in the South West of England, so Chris arranged weekly, sometimes fortnightly calls to make sure that we could keep in contact and managed to fit in with my work schedule and having to do horses twice a day. Chris gave me a number of small changes that I could make to my diet and eating habits and gave me some great ideas for foods to try (I am dairy and gluten intolerant.) Now that I am fairly happy with my weight, the changes Chris helped me make are still included in my diet today and I generally feel a lot better for it and have more energy. More...
