Cherry Architects is a professional practice; they are both creative and knowledgeable of good, correct design (scale, appropriateness, etc. ) that our last architects seemed to miss. They really understood our requirements and provided us with beautifully executed drawings/plans, in a timely manner, meeting both deadlines and more importantly our budget. We wanted a rear kitchen/dining extension, a new conservatory as well as a remodel of the interior with a new bathroom, new bedroom and new living space. What inspired you to start your own business?
Having worked for many years in the corporate design world, I saw first-hand how the use of digital technology could transform the design process, communicating design ideas to clients and allowing them to experience the full 3-dimensional potential of a design concept. I started Cherry Architects with the intention of downscaling this approach to smaller scale and domestic design projects; as a tool to allow clients to be fully engaged within the design process, regardless of size or budget.

We believe that good design can drastically improve the quality of people’s lives and their happiness levels, no matter how large or small the budget. This guiding principle underpins everything we do from our working process to the spaces that we create.
We aspire to transform how people live; through designing quality spaces, with rigorous consideration of materials, intelligently located natural light sources and features that respond to the daily needs of those inhabiting the space.

Yes. We can use Teams for virtual meetings. This allows us to still get the best of design meetings whilst staying safe.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We sit in a well ventilated space and use masks when necessary. We also take regular lateral flow tests
