I would highly recommend Cheriton if you need home help. We swapped to them after having a terrible time with a previous company and just wished we had gone to them sooner. The office staff could not be more helpful and were always there if needed, nothing was too much trouble. My mothers face would light up if Richard or Luke visited as they always made time to sit with her. What do you love most about your job?
Managing Cheriton Homecare for me is more of a passion than a past time. The best thing about Cheriton Homecare are the amazing people that I get to work with.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Looking for care for my grandfather was a nightmare. I could not find an agency that could reliably provide staff that was qualified or management that understood what I needed. So I decided to do it myself. 25 years later I am still as passionate as I was when Cheriton Homecare began to grow.
Why should our clients choose you?

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Cheriton Homecare are committed to supporting our current clients and those who may need us in the future. We will continue to provide live-in care services throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Our administration teams are working remotely to monitor the latest developments and guidelines being issued by the authorities and are ensuring as best possible the safety of the people using our services and the valued key workers supplying them with the care and support so desperately needed at this time.
We follow the latest advice from the Government and NHS. This includes the adequate provision of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and face masks.
Live-in Care
For anybody that needs full-time care and wants to remain in their home.
Cheriton Homecare will provide a trained care assistant to help you live life as you choose in the comfort of your own home.
You can have live-in care for as long as you like: two weeks, a month or even as a respite break.
Live-in Companionship Care
We understand that not every person requires intermit personal care, but may require physical and emotional support
Cheriton homecare can provide a live in carer for companionship.
The causes of loneliness and isolation are varied and having someone there to talk to on a long or short-term basis will improve general wellbeing and quality of life.

Acquired Brain Injury Care
The team at Cheriton Homecare understand that each case is unique. Using our collective experience we develop a care plan which is specific to the need of the individual who has an acquired brain injury.
Building a solid friendship which can adapt to the needs of our clients is vital when it comes to Acquired Brain Injury care. We accomplish this through diligent recruitment of care assistants, proactive supervision and preparation.

Alzheimers & Dementia Care
Cheriton Homecare understands that individuals change over the course of dementia and so do their needs. Our approach to dementia care is based on the belief that individuals with dementia benefit from a home environment. Staff expertise and activities are tailored to meet their stage specific needs.
The care and support of people living through dementia require an approach that is truly focused on the individual. Our commitment is to understand the needs of the people affected by dementia and those of their families and how the two together provide effective care.
We have extensive knowledge and experience with dementia and make sure that it reflects in the care plans that we provide.
Elderly care
Cheriton homecare offer dedicated support for elderly individuals who wish to continue living in their own homes and this is what the majority of older people say they would prefer.
Elderly care is personalised and specifically designed to support individuals with daily tasks that they are no longer reliably able to undertake.
