Hi, my name is cheryl, I offer professional dog walking, training and cat care in the Hayle and surrounding areas. I hold a level 3 NVQ in animal management, qualified as a dog trainer with the IMDT, first aid trained and fully insured. Dog walking and cat care has been my job now for over 3 years and I have over 6 years experience of working with many different species of animals.

We had debated whether to have a puppy for years and finally decided to go ahead this year. We felt very anxious about how we could care for her and didn't know much about how to integrate a puppy to our lives. We contacted Cheryl immediately to discuss this and Cheryl was a wealth of knowledge, put our minds at rest and helped us to get the right things for her before she arrived. Cheryl also provided us with a 'meet and greet' very early on to get to know Lola and instantly you could see the care and attention she gave her. We knew Cheryl was the one! Cheryl takes care to explain everything in detail theres time to practice the tasks whilst having great fun. I was nervous at first but Cheryl soon put both my puppy and I at ease my puppy had a great time and now has lots of skills that we will keep working on, the skills learnt are also useful to use with my other dogs. whilst training the classes were fun I can recommend Cheryl and hope to be joining her again in the future. Cheryl is an absolute star. I was visiting St Ives for a wedding and I didn’t want Nando ( large German shepherd ) sat in all day on the day of the wedding. Cheryl picked him up and dropped him off. She looked after him like he was her own. She takes pride in her work and clearly loves her job, looking after the animals in her care nothing less than 5star quality. She sent numerous pictures of Nando whilst he stayed with her and he looked like he had an amazing time. If I didn’t live 5 and a half hours away from Cheryl I would have no hesitation in using her on a regular basis. Nando is my boy and I wouldn’t want to leave him with just anyone. Brilliant with my lovely very stubborn bargy loopy in a haha loopy way scatterbrain no recall powerful dog he's never been happier will shout the house down on great day and time she's to come over to him gets so much more mental stimulation than ever before alot calmer still a twit but that's his personality bull in a china shop but he thinks before more and just enjoys life so much more couldn't recommend anyone better such a lovely lady genuinely loves every dog works with my boy adores her she loves him most run 😅 as hes very full on at first but she's helped him alot it's a joy to know and see him having such fun learning playing and I trust her 100%&I don't with anyone else at all 🙃👌x

Cheryl worked for me before she moved to Cornwall. Quite frankly - She was worth her weight in gold! Not only was she fantastic with all the pack but she was also very responsible and security minded. Animals are a passion to her and this showed tenfold. I was very sad to see her leave us and promised her that if ever she wanted to come back to London there would always be an opening for her in my business. I have encouraged her to start her own in Cornwall as I feel any dog would benefit from her care and nurture! What do you love most about your job?
Seeing the dogs enjoying themselves playing and having fun.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I used to work for a dog walking company and it was the best job I ever had! When I decided to leave London and start a life in cornwall with my children leaving my job was the hardest thing to do, I knew that I couldn't do any other job so I started out on my own and havnt looked back
Why should our clients choose you?
I love to be around dogs and I love them like they are my own, I always treat them how I would want someone to treat my dog, I always keep the dogs safe.
