I got married last November and Chambers made a bespoke wedding dress for me. I only had two months to get my dress sorted and Chambers kindly agreed to help me. The service was fantastic, all the staff were very professional and friendly. Everton Chambers helped me with the design of my dress and the choice of fabrics. I was slightly worried about using Chambers for my wedding dress alterations having read some negative reviews online. I can honestly say that Chambers were absolutely fantastic. My dress was heavily beaded and needed lots of adjustments so not the most straightforward of jobs. I had three appointments over a couple of months and the staff were amazing each time. I had a very enjoyable experience with Chambers. They fitted my wedding dress PERFECTLY within a month. I had to pay an extra to get it ready within short timelines due to personal condition changes, but it was worth it given the result. Had the most amazing service experience at Chambers in Wimbledon! Lovely, friendly and helpful the staff were welcoming and understood everything I was after in tailoring my suit for my wedding. They were full of advice and realy made me feel like they cared about what I wanted, on top of having my suit tailored I had a specially made to measure shirt fitted to my exact measurement and the attention to detail adding my initials to the cuff was exceptional. I have never come across anything like it before!They estimated the work to be completed within 4-6 weeks and they were true to their word completing everything in 6 weeks. My family have been customers of Everton for well over 10 years. I regularly go to them in Elys and the village for alterations and my husband goes to the Wimbledon village premises where he has all his shirts, suits, trousers, jackets made. My daughter is getting married on Saturday, I have had a jacket made to match my dress, my husband a new suit and waistcoat and my daughter has had her wedding dress fittings and the groom has had a winged shirt made. The choice of fabrics is huge and fantastic quality. The tailoring skills are perfect. Chambers has done the alterations and fitting of my wedding gown. The place is nice, the team is polite and helpful. The alterations experience was really easy and smooth, and Chambers have delivered a great end result. I added a new neckline to my dress and it turned out exactly as I had imagined it. One time I showed up for an appointment on the wrong day by mistake and they still saw me so I did not have to rush out of work one more day. Another time I emailed them about thinking the strap on the dress was falling off my shoulder and they included an extra fitting to make sure the dress was perfect. Chambers Bespoke Tailors is an amazing place to have EVERYTHING tailored. I was first introduced to them for my stepdaughter’s wedding dress. They also did my dress for her wedding. My stepdaughter’s dress was BEAUTIFULLY done and they kept to all timescales. My dress was transformed into something absolutely stunning. They are friendly, welcoming and expert tailors. They did a truly professional job and their prices are reasonable! I have taken several other pieces of clothing to them to be tailored. To be honest, in the UK, I had not found ANYONE I trusted with my clothes until I was introduced to Chambers. I trust them with anything from jeans to couture clothing. Brygida is a lovely young woman and always so welcoming when I go in there. She always tries to accomodate when I need things back even when they are busy. She is also very honest about when things can be done as there are wedding season peaks for sure. They have always committed to their timelines. Milena is lovely. She is an amazing tailor. She has transformed everything I have brought to her into something beautifully fitted. She is very friendly and very welcoming. Let me tell you about this precious place.I got sleeves added to my dress, I got my neckline raised, my length adjusted and my dress altered to fit me perfectly. I got married three weeks ago, in the run up to my wedding I took my wedding dress to Chambers to be altered. I was quite nervous about this as the dress was very detailed with a mixture of lace and heavy beading - when a dress is complex it's hard to understand how it can be altered but the team at Chambers put me completely at ease! The entire team was very supportive and gave great advice about what would work and what wouldn't and nothing was too much trouble when I kept wanting to change more. The skills of the seamstress who did the alterations are simply incredible, she changed the length, neckline, sleeves plus the general fit! I was recommended Chambers by Teokath - the bridal boutique in Wimbledon where I bought my wedding dress. The service from start to finish was superb. I had 3 x fittings in the weeks running up to my wedding. The dress didn't need altering too much. However, two days before my wedding I suddenly had a feeling I needed to try my dress on (I had collected it from Chambers already) and it was hanging off me (pre-wedding nerves meant I lost a lot of weight in a matter of days). I called up at 9am and rushed it into Chambers, Dolores (the superstar) was ready and waiting for me and had lined up a tailor for emergency amends! I ended up having my dress altered in four different places and it was turned around that same day (I was driving to my wedding the next morning). I can't explain the panic I felt - this is the most expensive dress I will ever wear and it must be perfect. Chambers exceeded my expectations, it really was perfect and I will never forget how at ease and calm they made me feel at this stressful time! I had my wedding dress altered at Chambers and my husband had his suit made here. When my dress came to me from the designer it looked completely different from the sample I had tried on as there were 5 extra layers under the skirt! I was nearly in tears! I contacted Everton at Chambers and he reassured me that him & his team would be able to fix it and get the look I wanted. Slowly but surely we took out the layers until finally we achieved the look I wanted. The team at Chambers were very helpful and I was made to feel that nothing was too much trouble & that we would keep making the alterations until I was happy.
