C&E Consult is a Consultancy business, which was formed to help healthcare professionals realise the true potential of their business. Dr. Charlie Fox and Edd Jones, work together to help those businesses take their steps to success - which ultimately culminates in increased profitability through effective recruitment, business systems and KPIs. However, we can work with a whole spectrum of different businesses thanks to our combined experience and operational knowledge.

We specialise in operational management, which includes business analysis, KPIs, cost controls, marketing, advertising, recruitment, people management and sales generation. Edd is also a fully accredited '6 Thinking Hats' trainer, which is a globally recognised parallel thinking process, pioneered by Dr. Edward De Bono.

We help business owners and managers take ownership of their own destiny and work through those difficult times, which always occur when you are running a business. Effective marketing, sales approaches, operational systems, team management and customer journey always come top of the list, when it comes to getting things right and this is where Edd & Charlies combined experience pays dividends (see below). Ensuring the vital aspects of a business are measured via KPIs is absolutely crucial and cloud based systems such as Fractal and Futrli can be used to help achieve this and form effective and timely action plans for improvement. We like to keep things as simple as possible - there are no prizes for talking in riddles or over complicating simple processes!

We want you to identify everything that is bothering you or worrying you about your business operation, then pick the top 3 things to deal with. We then work together to solve those 3 problems - then move onto the next 3 and so on. This helps focus your attention on what REALLY matters in your business.

Charlie has 30 years of experience within Dentistry and has owned his own fully private Dental Practice since 2003. During that time Charlie has built an incredibly successful Practice, which focuses on delivering the highest level of Dental Care in exceptional surroundings. Customer service is top of the agenda at Hartley Dental (www.hartleydental.co.uk) and the whole team, led by Charlie, focus on providing the gold standard of customer journey for each and every patient. Charlie is also a NLP business management master practitioner.

Charlie has Scottish roots and is an avid cyclist, who often cycles in aid of good causes, such as st. Lukes Hospital in Plymouth.

Edd has been involved in private commercial businesses for 15 years, having started out as a Branch Manager with Securitas UK for the south West of England, where he worked for 6 years. He then moved to the Rank Group (Mecca Bingo) as an Operational Support Manager for the West of England and has also worked as an operations Manager for Euro Car parks in West London. Edd is from a farming background and has even been farm coordinator at Bicton Agricultural College in West Devon. Edd is also director of a building company - DBW Solutions Ltd.

Edd also still actively works on the family farm and is a keen sportsman, playing rugby in the winter and cricket in the summer.
