Chrissie at Carts of Cakes has made both my childrens' Christening cakes, both of which were completely different and equally wonderful. My three month old daughter had a pretty, beautifully decorated bunny themed cake with handmade bunting and my seven year old son a very unique cake featuring all of his favourite interests, including hand modelled copies of his motorcross bike and pet dog! Chrissie made our wonderful wedding cake and there wasn't a crumb left at the end of the night, which says it all!! From day one, Chrissie was professional and helpful. We met to discuss different ideas and flavours and she pretty much let me have/do whatever I wanted!! She drew the designs and sent them over for approval and discussed different colours and textures that she thought would work. Chrissie puts her heart and soul into her work and it shows. We still have our icing models of neil n I on our kitchen window sill at home and they are exact replicas. A great memento of a wonderful day. Chrissie has made many cakes for my photography 'cake smashes' and they are always amazing, in both look and taste. They always get plenty of compliments from my clients too. I have seen and tasted some other cakes she's made for her son's celebrations, and once again they are excellent. The effort really shows through in the details, and as well as a great baker, she's a lovely person all round, and customer service is always second to none.
