At Carla and Chris's Happy pets we provide the following services:
Dog walking - 30 mins or an 1 hour and this can be a solo or group dog walk
Home boarding - We can look after 3 dogs at the same time but we do prefer to take just one family at a time to prevent any disagreements with dogs that haven't met before etc

What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to interact with different customers and their pets and getting to know the animals. It's lovely to make a bond with the animals you are caring for and the difference you see in them when you start your visits to when you end your visits, the animals are usually completely different and its lovely to see a dog wagging its tail for you when you get home.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had a job as an administrator for a telecommunications company and I always felt like I was twiddling my thumbs with nothing to do so I decided it was time to try something different. We have 4 cats of our own and we have found it very difficult in the past to find care for our cats due to not having many people around which offer cat sitting services. Due to this we think we found a niche in the market and we wanted to provide this service to people that didn't have a lot of choice in our area.
We also look at our cats as family, they are part of us and we wanted to make people feel at ease when they have to leave their animals, so any animal that we look after is classed as part of our family and we treat them as nothing less.
Why should our clients choose you?
As mentioned above any pet that we look after is treated like a member of the family and we also try and stick to the owners routine of what they do with them so the pet feels like nothing has really changed. We like owners to bring a special momentum from home with their pets when they come to stay so the pets feel comfortable and happy and as long as that is the case, we believe a good job has been carried out.

We also run an online shop providing cat and dog products to buy.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We wear gloves, use hand sanitiser regularly and keep social distancing.
Dog walking
Solo dog walks - 30 mins - £8.00 and 1 hour - £12.00
Group dog walks - 30 mins - £6.00 for the first dog and £3.00 for an additional dog from the same household
1 hour - £9.00 for the first dog and £5.00 for an additional dog from the same household.
Home Boarding
1 dog - £25 per day
2 dogs - £30.00 per day
3 dogs - £40.00 per day
Cat sitting
1 visit per day - £6.00
2 visits per day - £11.00
