I was looking for a personal trainer for my daughter who is shy and anxious. Found Carl on this website and I am so glad to have found him. Training with him for my daughter has been great, Carl managed to make her feel so calm and he got her motivated to do the exercise. As well as training they always have good chats. Carl adjusts the training according to ability and ready to try different methods to challenge the training if you ready. I would definitely recommend Carl for others who are ready to train with someone who is really engaged and ambitious about his job and training. More...

A warm beautiful soul, puts you at ease and first thing he spoke about was posture and that's the most important thing to ensure endurance and sustainability of routines.

Carl makes every work out different and fun. He brings equipment to our sessions so I feel I’m definitely getting a workout I couldn’t replicate at home with You Tube! He pushes me the right amount - enough to help me beat my PBS but not so much that it becomes stressful and unpleasant - I look forward to exercising for the first time ever! Just finished 10 sessions with Carl. He was willing to meet me in the park at 6.45am twice a week during winter to help me get back on track with my fitness!

I enjoyed my sessions with him, especially the boxing, and I am noticeably fitter than I was at the start!

Carl is very friendly and approachable and easily contactable and practices what he preaches - he has biceps made of iron! Despite that he is good at figuring out what exercises are good for your individual level of fitness.

This was not what was discussed on the phone after a lengthy conversation about health history and it was made clear there is meat options on the meal plan, turkey and salmon. Vegetarian would not eat this so I am very sorry that you have clearly not looked at the whole plan.

A quite simple food plan overall and quite a different appraoch than my usual diet. However it was effective and I was able to follow it, with very successful weight loss which I had strugged to maintain before this, so worth it for me and very pleased overall. Working with Carl has been such a great experience. Time, laziness and poor knowledge have meant a terrible diet and weight gain for me. Carl was able to help me with this right away, understanding my goals, getting to know my likes and dislikes and just making the whole process so straightforward. I've been on rotation of my two-week meal plan for three weeks now and honestly feel so different. So much more energy during the day and able to focus much better. Carl gave me a written out diet plan week by week that I followed every day. I could plan ahead as to what food I needed. The meals are easy to prepare for a busy life . I just met Carl and I was pleasantly surprised how easy going, funny but knowledgeable he is! He clearly loves his work, knows his stuff and takes time to know you, to explain to best type of exercises to do and to answer all my questions. I am doing exercises I was not able to do before!
My breathing is better and my back pains are slowly going away. It is great to see the hard work paying out! Carl always tailors the workout to my needs and abilities and I saw results after 3 sessions. He continuously checks on me, my food and gives tips and motivational advice. The rest is up to me but definitely he the person to hire if you want to see results!

Amazing personal trainer! Haven't had many sessions so far only a few but I'm definitely looking forward to more. He makes me feel comfortable in my own body while training and pushes me to my limit without feeling rubbish. Makes the sessions really fun and isn't just running here and back. Carl has amazing work ethos and is very dedicated to all of his clients, he provides a full range of help and services specially designed for his clients to get fit. As I am training with a friend, Carl personalizes our training so each of us receives the best workout targeted to our goals. He also gives advices on meal plans to get us on a healthy balanced diet. Carl puts in that extra element in his training regime by communicating with you to see what is best for you. He is affable, gregarious, and devoted to providing us with the best; unlikely the strict harsh spin class instructors I previously had who only followed a set of routines.

After only two sessions, I could visibly see a difference in my strength level, going from not being able to do a single push-up to being able to do partial push-ups. After two months I was doing full push-ups, something I was never previously able to do! Carl designs every training session and provides lots of variety to keep us motivated. He uses combinations of cardio exercises, abs/arms exercises and a little bit of boxing. Under his patient guidance, I can do push-ups, hold a plank longer, and am more conscious of a healthy diet.

Carl is definitely an amazing personal trainer!
My flatmate and I have been training with Carl for more than 6 months now. He is enthusiastic, hard-working, committed and high-skilled trainer.
Carl gave us a tailored training session every week after detailed discussion with us on our objectives, lifestyle, diet and so on. The training session has always been a delight on Saturday morning and Carl has organised a variety of activities for us. Carl has been very encouraging, cheerful for our improvement and we've became really good friends in the end. :)

Carl was excellent right from the start, I wanted help with my diet, work out and motivation. We worked out a plan together that would suit me and got cracking. The initatil change was hard for me to face up to my bad habits but Carl was there to support me and show me that it would all be worth it and it can be fun to! Carl was always in contact with me which kept me going, he helped me improve my personal confidence and was so easy to get along with. The results I achieved weren't all just physical changes but mental and habitual, I would recommend anyone of my friends wothout hesitation!
