Absolute gem of a place. Third time we have visited & this time we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Clinton. He is a proper gent & made us feel so welcome, brilliant host & couldn’t have done enough to make our dining pleasurable. Amazing food thanks to chef Nigel (who we also met). I have visited Caribe twice for dinner. I enjoyed a wonderful curried mutton and rice and peas meal the first time, which was just the right amount of spicy, and authentically Jamaican. The second meal was fish, prepared escovitched and it was great as it was prepared to order, and was very fresh. The customer service was excellent, and the waiter was very attentive! I haven't tried any of the food here yet as I was only looking for a drink when I found this place. It was quiet when I went so could get drinks quickly and at okay prices. There was some seats at the bar but opted for the few chairs and tables they had outside to I could enjoy the sun a bit. This place is a bit out of the way but definitely worth a visit. There's on street parking all around the area which is free after 8pm so there's no need to worry about finding a space. More...

Wow. What a hidden gem. We went on a Groupon deal because it was inexpensive, and a good way to try different food. We were really surprised. We had the tapas, and it was the nicest Caribbean food we have had. Nicer than Turtle bay. The jerk sauce was so good! The rum cocktails were on 2 for 1 too which was a bonus.
