Ruth took great care of my 6 rats. She happily gave meds and really treated them as her own while they were staying with her. Ruth is one in a million with pets she goes out her way on a weekly basis to make sure that they are cared for no matter what the situation is. If your looking for a pet sitter I'd highly recommend Ruth to anyone. The amount of love and care she gives to your furry animals when your on holiday is just amazing. What do you love most about your job?
Doing this job I get to meet so many lovely animals and their human parents. I get to be active and work outdoors and not be stuck in an office all day.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My name is Ruth and I have been an animal lover my whole life, I grew up with various animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, budgies and my parents late cockatiel. I have also shared my adult life with a diverse range of animals including a dog, fish, mice, rats, a rabbit, a terrapin, birds and degus. I have also been an avid horse rider since I was 3.
During my time in New Zealand I house/cat sat for my friend's grandparents. This experience spurred me on to pursue this as a career. I enjoy this on a day to day basis as I get to interact with many different animals.
Why should our clients choose you?
To me, Care Full Critters is more than just another dog walking and animal care business. It's about animal care and compassion. It is my desire to give a good service to the animals as well as their parents. Animals are part of the family, many people view them as adopted furry children. That is what I see when I look at an animal and it is my intention to lavish your animal with the tender loving care he or she deserves.
