Expert tuition from a conservatoire trained musician. Specialist in jazz, classical and popular/rock music, coaching beginners through to professionals.

Maximum support is provided for every student. For beginners, I aim to give the best foundational year possible setting you up for a smooth and efficient learning path with no stagnation. We focus on:

1. Sight reading and sight singing
2. Composition, arranging and song writing
3. Improvisation
4. Ear training (playing by ear)
5. Rhythm training - how to think and count like a drummer.
6. Psychology of learning - how to navigate self doubt, discouragement and failure and create the environment for perfect practise sessions

I only work with adults and intermediate/advanced children.

Professionals/music graduates looking to recieve private coaching are also welcome. We will identify and work on your weaknesses together to keep you moving forward in your career.
