What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
It's about engaging with the subject. Make it FUN and relaxed. It's just a photograph.
What do you love most about your job?
I like engaging with people and learning from them; something new everyday. But what I love most is to see their reactions and their faces when I present them their photographs. Makes me happy to know I have done a good job for them.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I grew up in a highly creative environment; My father was an architect, my mother an artist working on jewellery, silk screen, batik and clay sculptures, and I got my first Kodak Instamatic camera when I was 9 years old and photography has been a part of me ever since. And that same creativity led me to a long career as an advertising executive. But after a long time I decided to get back to my roots, my creativity, my freedom.
