We would highly recommenced Capital DJ our company used them for an event where we hired a dance floor. The guys were so quick and professional and they spent ages cleaning the floor to make it look as sparkly as they could.

Our company booked DJ for New Year's Eve party and we couldn't be more pleased! Terry was super helpful when booking, at short notice got us DJ Owen who was just great! He was friendly and professional the whole time, and was able to improvise & adapt the playlist to the current mood of the crowd. I Hired Capital DJ Services for my friends wedding. (I took charge of this area) Terry was the main contact during my inquiries. I didn't know where to start and what questions to ask, but he explained everything really well, giving me different options to suit my venue. He also helped my planning of the event, he had good advice regarding structuring the meal, speeches, cake cutting and first dance. We upgraded our Lighting to include more lights and also opted for uplighting which totally transformed the venue with beautiful red and pink colour. The Dancefloor was clean and sparkling which looked awesome with the White starcloth boothe. Before the event I sent a complex list of songs to cater for the wide range of guests. Terry's colleague Michael started with nice atmospheric music during the meal, and Terry and Michael were hosting the entire event from start to finish so we all knew what was happening and when. As it came down to the dancing Terry worked with our playlist but also added suitable songs during the night and kept the dancefloor busy (It was only a small wedding with 100 guests) so it was really good to see everyone dancing for the majority of the evening! Id like to add that Terry (and Michael) who accompanied him were not the average Wedding DJs, it was clear that they were very experienced and we were all impressed with the professional Mixing, clear announcements and music knowledge which was fundamental to a great event. We were initially planning to try and put together a playlist ourselves for the personal touch. A few weeks before the wedding we realised this was a ridiculous idea and proceeded to panic look at websites to see how you even booked DJs. Capital DJ Services website looked the most friendly but also professional of the dozens we found on Google so we messaged them to request availability and pricing. Having no idea how any of this worked and not having done the research in advance, we were uncertain of anything and generally very uninformed.

Terry called me shortly afterwards and basically made everything okay. He talked me through music (of which I know next to nothing) and of weddings generally. I was trying to book a larger package which was inappropriate for the venue and setting I had in mind and Terry tactfully suggested that I go with the simpler package which was absolutely ideal in the end. Terry suggested I send him a list of songs that I wanted played and I sent him a list of our favourite songs and some requests from friends. There were a few which were probably not generally used at weddings. Terry listened to everything I said I wanted and quietly arranged accordingly.

On the day of the wedding, Matt was our DJ and he was perfect. I cannot overstate how awesome he is. He knew exactly what he was doing to get the dancing going and had a wide range of music with him. He played exactly the songs I had in mind when I was talking to Terry and vaguely explaining that I did not know the name or words to any of them but "had sometimes heard them in some clubs". He played the requested songs and the best thing was he seemed to enjoy the night. At the end when our guests were desperate for more, he chose a song in keeping with our previous requests. We hired Capital DJ Services for a high profile corporate event. This event was for a well known household brand. Terry who we got in touch with was very helpful from the start, being patient with us until we confirmed things up with our client. He discussed our requirements and listened to our vision for the event. He was able to give some suggestions which worked very well at the event in terms of equipment, dancefloor and music to set the atmosphere during the separate sections of the event. Overall I am very happy to use Capital DJ Services again, and our client was extremely pleased with the quality of Djing throughout the meal, awards and finally the afterparty.
