When we got the keys to our new home we discovered it had been left in a horrific state, even to the point it wasn’t safe for our 7 month old to stay there. We contacted Canvey Cleaners and Julie came over that evening to have a look and give us a quote. She said she would try to get a team in the next day but couldn’t promise (this was 18:00 on a Friday night!) but promised it would be done ASAP so our daughter could join us in our new home. Long story short, Julie turned up at 08:00 the next morning with 2 others and they grafted for 4 hours without stopping. Our Kitchen and Bathroom looked amazing when they were done! Not only was their work faultless but they were really polite and professional and the price was much much cheaper than I would of expected to pay! Can not recommend Julie and her team enough and we will be using them again without doubt! More...

How long have you been in business?
Canvey Cleaners Limited was incorporated in January 2015 by Julie Abery. Prior to starting up Canvey Cleaners, I was the owner of Doctor Domestic Ltd (Upminster) for 8 years.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
We supply all equipment and cleaning products for deep cleans.
We supply all cleaning products, excluding mops & hoovers for regular cleans due to cross contamination.
What do you love most about your job?
We love to help people, we make sure they have the clean & tidy house they desire, which will help them spend quality time with family and friends.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Since the age of 11, (I am now 50) I have always had the desire to make things happen. I also love to help people, as the owner of Canvey Cleaners, I help amazing mums get back in to work around the school run, plus I love helping families, professionals and businesses reduce the stress of finding the time to clean. We supply a seamless cleaning service to all our clients.

Domestic Cleaning
We offer all aspects of house cleaning, tidying, hoovering, mopping, bed changing, ironing, washing, inside windows cleaned, nets washed and rehung.
Commercial cleaning
We offer all aspects of office and factory cleaning, including dog groomers, porta cabins, churches, schools and many more.
Ironing
We iron at you home and if required we put your clothes away too.
Oven clean
End of tenancy cleans
We also work closely with many estate agents to give the very best cleaning services. Helping landlords and tenants alike.
