Incredibly helpful and enjoyable puppy class with Charlie and Caninewildwalks. We had a lot of interesting exercises and great impact on how you teach your puppy basic manners and commands. I've been on one of the puppy classes previously at the start of the year for my Loki a beautiful black lab :) and recently had some advice on what to do to desensitizing him with the lead and harness as he is a very sensitive but very tamed dog, literally wouldn't hurt a fly even out of defense! she gave me some tips, bare in mind I'm actually gaining my experience myself at becoming a professional dog trainer but Charlie has been so helpful and I usually struggle to follow information or instructions online with reading and usually always need a practical face to face demonstration! she wrote to me so clearly and it all made so much sense, i followed everything she told me to do from the start of this month it's been nearly 2 weeks and he is making so much improvements with the harness! his recall is even improving with it too! definitely would recommend Charlie for training! even if it's some advice online! she is brilliant with the clear explanations and instructions! What do you love most about your job?
Seeing the cooperation bloom between dog and owner as owners start to understand and improve their dogs behaviour. When you see a dog succeeding and becoming more confident and more obedient it is a great feeling. I have a passion for working with dogs and I love working with owners who feel a similar way towards their dogs.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Years of experience working with rescue dogs allowed me to gain a wide variety of experience but also to recognise the importance of helping dogs in their own homes so they do not need to go into a rescue centre. At the right time I started to offer classes which I love to teach as well as helping individuals in their own homes.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am fully qualified and insured professional who understands your dogs motivations and how to modify their behaviour. I use positive, kind and effective techniques in my training and behaviour work and always want to get the best out of your dog. I have three rescue dogs of my own which have taught me both a lot about various behavioural problems, but also what it is like as an owner as a dog with challenges.
