Canine Kindergarten is a professional, fully insured and first aid trained dog walking and pet sitting service based in Alsager. At Canine Kindergarten we realise pets are family and treat all pets as if they were our own. The company was set up by Emily Burns in 2017 to cater for people who need their pets looking after while they are on holiday, at work, want a night out but don’t want to leave their pets alone or for any other reason cannot be there that day!

Emily is fantastic. I booked her to come and let my two out for a couple of toilet breaks and give them a fuss whilst I was gone all day. She happily popped over beforehand to meet them as one is nervous of new people in the house and despite his best efforts to showcase all of his worst behavior, she was an absolute star with him. Canine Kindergarten in combination with second chance rescue is the entire reason I have my therapy dog. Now he’s not an actual therapy dog, he lacks the certifications. From the outstanding owner, Lisa Smith, who treats every dog like her family, to the exceptional staff, to the amazing facility, and to the superb attention to detail, your dog is truly taken care of here. Emily did a fantastic job of walking our dogs whilst my mother in law was dog sitting when we were on holiday. After finding Emily on Facebook and our first meet I knew that my puppy was going to enjoy her staying over and I knew our house would be safe. We asked Emily to assist us for a couple of weeks with our puppy, Maisie. We were very impressed with Emily from our initial correspondence.
She was very prompt in her responses and arranged to meet with us and Maisie the following day to discuss our requirements. We found Emily to be very flexible. She is also reasonable in her pricing.
Emily was great with Maisie. Maisie seemed to really enjoy her walks with Emily. We were able to come home to a more relaxed puppy as she was able to burn off some energy throughout the day. We also had peace of mind that Maisie was being attended to and getting a walk when we weren't around through the day.
We will not hesitate in asking Emily for her assistance in the future when required.

My 'job' actually feels like a hobby. I absolutely love animals of all kind and I love what I do. I am extremely lucky to be able to call my job my passion.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am conveniently located for a lot of clients, I am young and energetic ensuring all dogs get the walks they need. I am trustworthy and can offer references when it comes to house sitting. Most importantly, I absolutely love what I do and each day I wake up excited to go and see the pets I am looking after for the day.
Dog walk
Dog walks can range from 30 minutes (£7) 1 hour (£10) or 2 hours (£20).
Over night stay
One over night stay which is around 12 hours will cost £30
Dog sitting/ House sitting
I combine dog sitting with house sitting (I would take care of the dog and house for most of the day) this is perfect for when you go on holiday. This price varies on dependent on location and time needed at the property but starts from £30 a day.
Cat Visit
£7 for a 30 minute visit to feed, water and change litter tray
Small Animal Visit
Includes hamsters, rabbits, fish etc. £7 for a visit to feed and water and tidy cage a little. £10 to clean out full cage
