Delivered over a day late despite being made aware that we only had a single day that we requried the skip and ordered it to arrive a day early to ensure we would have it.
Called very late on the day of delivery to be told that it wouldn't be delivered on booked and paid for date, but it would be delivered early in the morning.
When the skip didn't arrive in the morning, I was told that they cannot give any estimates on time of delivery and it could be as last as midday before it arrives. It didn't arrive until 11:30am so we lost half a day of being able to use the skip.
I was told to ring back on Monday to discuss a partial refund, which I have been told I will not get anything as they "DO NOT DO REFUNDS" and the most they could offer me was £12 off my next skip hire, which is a joke as it would likely turn up late anyway.
Do not use this company, they are unreliable and do not care about their customers.

I had an awkward space for the skip to be manoeuvred into, expecting some grief for my desired skip location i was blown away by the Calder valley skip hire representative, nothing was too much trouble, he even inched it to the right by skilfully un-hooking one side and moving the opposite side, he observed I may catch my car door with the over hang. Not only this, normally I would get one week with this skip but the driver advised me to ring in to tailor my needs. The lady on the sales desk could not accommodate me more. Since 2013 we have had over 70 skips from Calder Valley. The prices are very reasonable and the service from first phone call to the office and delivery to by the driver is excellent. Excellent company. I would recommend to any domestic or commercial property's to use there services. Ploughcroft Ltd have used Calder Valley Skip Hire since 2010. We average around 10 hire skips per month and I can honestly say that there customer service, lead times, health and Safety and costs are the best on the market. Absolute top company we use continually on all our contracts. Staff in the office and the drivers are fantastic and very helpful.
