Hi, my name is Sheila McLaughlin. I have been decorating cakes for about 40 years. I keep up with all the latest trends (and know about all the old ones too!).
I have a retail shop based in Long Eaton so have access to other things such as helium balloons, plain balloons, candles, ready made decorations and so on if you have a late order we can usually do it.

We just had our wedding, and Cakes Etc supplied our cake. The cake tasting went very well, and we selected our cake flavours, which were both delicious. On the day of the wedding, the cake turned up bright and early and it looked terrific. We got a lot of positive remarks on its appearance, and even more when our guests tasted it. Did a tutorial for sugar work on a Ghost cake. Had a fantastic afternoon and learnt a great deal. If you are a novice at cake decoration this is a good place to go. Excellent and very friendly.

Having forgotten to ask for a Gluten Free and a Vegan cake, the following day I re-visited the shop to make amends. No problem and the cake had reference to the writing of a book on the history of Elvaston Castle, Brilliant. The cake turned out to be very tasty and exceedingly well presented.
