C L Baker Roofing and Repointing

We had a leak in our felt covered flat roof front dormer on our chalet style bungalow. The roof was 24 years old and every time it rained we had water leaking into the bedroom.
Chris from CL Baker came out the same day to give an Estimate, he clearly talked through the options and how the long the work would take. I received an Estimate in writing the same day.
3 days later his team - Dave and Kev were on-site right on time. They were incredibly friendly, courteous and kept me informed throughout the work, taking photos and showing me throughout the day.
In one day, Dave & Kev stripped back the roof, checked it, replaced all rotten wood and put down roof insulation. They then replaced all the roof with new weatherproof high quality boarding and covered with a base and top coat heat applied felt. They cleared out the gutters and even cleaned the gutter on the rear dormer at the same time.
Chris came to see how the work was progressing and checked to make sure all was good with me too.
His team left the roof and front garden cleaner than it was when they arrived!
I received the invoice the same day - very reasonable.

Chris and his team arrived at 8am and got straight to work putting up their scaffolding towers for easy access to the tiled roof.
They clean the moss off with a brilliant technique by softly steam cleaning the roof and all from their scaffolding with a telescopic pole with a attachment. Then they treated the roof with a biocide. We can’t believe the results in fact my neighbour has already booked them in for their roof. More...
