What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Planning and the small details. If you fail to prepare then you better prepare to fail, planning is key in the photography industry as getting any details wrong could end in disaster for you and the client.
Small details matter as these are the details that are usually most thought of by the client, its often the small thing that escapes your mind about a certain day or event which can be rekindled by a photograph
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I like to get to understand my clients on a professional and personal level.
My first question tends to be have you hired a photographer before, if so what did you / didn't you like about their work.
Have you seen any ideas for pictures of colour palettes that you would like to incorporate?
I also like to get as much information as possible about the shoot before I even think about money.
What do you love most about your job?
Sharing amazing moments of peoples lives on a daily basis.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have an extreme passion for photography. The ability to capture a moment of someones life that they will never forget that they get to look back on through a picture you took, there is not many better feelings than that out there.
