What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy helping people to create and maintain a beautiful outside space. I've built a strong connection with many of my customers and believe my focus on achieving a high standard of work makes Butterfly Effect Services standout from other gardening companies.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started Butterfly Effect Services in 2018 because I wanted to pursue my passion for gardening. I felt there was a need for a friendly, reliable and professional gardening service that was big enough to fulfil your needs but small enough to know your name.

Lawn care
Your lawn is an integral part of your garden and a healthy well maintained lawn will greatly improve the look of your garden. But it can be hard to keep up with the frequency of mowing required particularly in Spring and Summer.
We offer great deals on mowing services. Our professional equipment will stripe your lawn and we will ensure neat edges between paths, boarders and your lawn.
We also offer lawn treatments including fertilisers and weed killers. We're fully trained and licensed to use professional lawn treatments. We use fertilisers which are free from harmful pesticides and liquid weed killers which are very effective and safe for pets and children once dry (usually after 1-2 hours)

Hedge trimming
We offer great deals on hedge pruning and cutting. Whether you need your hedges trimmed, shaped, maintained or renovated, we have the skills and experience to make your hedge look the way you like it to.
Hedges require trimming to keep them dense and compact. Informal hedges need to be trimmed once or twice a year, depending upon the type of hedge. Formal hedges can require cutting up to three times per year.
Conifer and most evergreen hedges will ideally be trimmed during the Summer until September, however we offer hedge trimming throughout the year. We can schedule visits as often as needed to keep your hedge compact and shapely throughout the year. Or if you are simply looking for a one off cut we can help with that too.
After carrying out the work we will collect and sweep up all cuttings and leaving the area tidy. We can either take away the cuttings ourselves or leave them for you to dispose of.
Weed control
We offer great deals on weed killer treatments and border maintenance services. Whether you are looking for a one-off blitz or a season long campaign we can help keep your garden weed free.
Weeds infest various parts of our gardens, be it the driveway, patio, lawn or paths. Hand weeding is a simple solution for smaller areas such as borders but for larger areas the most practical and cost effective solution is to use a weed killer (herbicide).
We are fully trained and licenced to apply professional weed killer treatments. We use high quality products that act fast to kill weeds but are safe for pets and children to be around. We take the time to explain how the treatment works, how long it will take to kill the weeds and when pets and children can play in the garden after the treatment (usually 1-2 hours).
