Bushman Mobile Wood Fired Pizza

Travelled from Sheffield today for what I consider to be a milestone in setting up my new business! I wasn't really sure what to expect but got instant good vibes from the moment I pulled up. An experience worth travelling twice the distance and more. An opportunity to meet Jay - a man who's passion and knowledge of the business (not to mention his funny stories) is infectious and has given me even more drive to get going...and do things right...which with the help of Jay I'm now confident I will. I had many Q's answered and my mind put to rest, which even after much research I still needed. I hope to continue building a working relationship with Jay. A genuine nice guy with an enthusiasm seldom seen, which has to be seen in person to truly get an appreciation. Thank you Jay.

For anyone thinking of going down the wood fired oven path,this is the way forward. After a two an a half drive in yesterday's fog, we unfortunately arrived for our discovery consultation half an hour late. I cannot enthuse about Jay enough not only did we get our two hours we somehow managed to get a further hour !
We found the consultation not only extremely informative, it opened our eyes to aspects of the business we'd not even thought of.
We came away not committed to anything but with a wealth of knowledge and an enthusiasm to move forward.
No hard sell he just tells it like it is.

Me and my dad drove up from Hampshire on Monday for our 1 to 1 consolation with Jay. If your on the fence about making the trip to see him then I strongly urge you to go, the man is full of knowledge about everything to do with pizzas and remembering that what you are trying to do is build a successful and profitable business at the same time. What more can be said than all the reviews that have gone before me, the discovery consultation was great and I could have stayed for hours longer even though I was not well and the drive had really taken it out of me.
Jays advice really made me think about the viability of what I was planning and I am now back to planning what is best for my family instead of making mistakes that would have caused us no end of trouble.

For many years I have had a wood fired pizza oven on my wishlist for the garden. It's become a bit of a joke with family and friends as it is so often talked about but has never materialised. Having moved house last year I decided to resolve this and after much searching came across Bushman Wood Fired Ovens and Jay. The advice given on the site and via the emails sent was great and I contacted Jay to arrange a consultation. On a very grey Saturday (with daughter in tow) I drove 1.5 hours to Jay's house to meet him and discuss my plans in more detail. Jay's knowledge and passion were evident from the start. He was very welcoming and showed a real interest in what I was looking to achieve and the types of things I wanted to use the oven for. The food he provided as a taster was delicious, the ribs were especially good! I would highly recommend taking the time to visit Jay and benefit from his experience in both domestic and commercial setups. Yesterday we had a fantastic meeting with Jay. He was amazing, such an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and driven guy.
It was a pleasure discussing our ideas and dreams, even being put right on a few things was perfect ! !

Finally finished the Outdoor room with a bushman Outdoor stove.... purchase after a birthday present on a wood fired oven course ( manna from Devon course�� based in Dartmouth). Ate out every evening last week. Did some research and whilst not the cheapest, these are seriously good ovens for more than a pizza. Keeps warm for twenty four hours with good wood!! Just returned from the consultation with Jay and it was the most valuable experience I could have wished for. We travelled from Newport, South Wales and Jay’s advice was helpful, honest, insightful and most of all thoroughly enjoyable!
Jay has a real insight into the restaurant and catering world and for anyone considering venturing into this business I would suggest a meeting with Jay is imperative.
So many things that he made me consider and such friendly advice. No hard sell, just honest, up front advice. A great evening finished off with some delicious pizzas!

I have gone into partnership with my partner and my son to set up a wood fired pizza business. After extensive research on people out there selling ovens and trailers we decided to contact Jay Emery. He invited to a consultation day at his factory and within 20 minuites we could tell he really knows this business inside and out.
Only one of us had. experience in the catering business and because we were investigating time and money in our new project we needed to know for sure it was going to succeed. After spending time with Jay we could tell that we were talking to a true guru ! Jay inspired us and helped us believe that we really could make our ideas a reality.
We went home and discussed our options and budgets deciding that Jay's product was definitely the best out there and we wanted the best. The decision was made. Jay Emery was our man and has remained so. He has provided us with an amazing Bushman Wood Fired pizza oven and kitchen trailer and has supported us ever since as much as possible.
Yesterday we launched our business and catered for a private birthday party. Jay was with us every step of the way through that day, he made sure we had everything we needed to make it a success, it was actually a launch and training day and we are glad we had Jay with us as everything that could have gone wrong didn't as he had prempted every mistake we could have made so that we didn't make one.
The main point is that we finished the day feeling confident that we now have the knowledge to go out and trade, and that on top of that Jay had given us all his expertise on marketing ourselves in a way that will ensure the on going success of our business.

Just got back to York from my initial consultation with Jay. What an amazing man he is. I went there with my wife Liz, kind of knowing I was gonna work with him. Came away more sure that ever. He didn't do the hard sell, but gave us the brutal truth - facts, evidence and tons of ideas. If you want bullshit and ego stroking, go elsewhere.
He is unflinching and frank, and helped us get a clearer picture of where we want to be going.
I think today was one of the most important meetings I've had in my life, and has shown me the path to my new life.
