What makes a great website?
Within seconds customers have already decided if they like you based on your website. Within those first few seconds you need enough information to tell your story. Images and brand photos are an ideal way to instantly capture the attention of potential clients.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
You may be surprised to find my first question is... Why? What do you want to be known for and found for? You may be an amazing florist but... is it wedding flowers? bouquet delivery? Knowing your Why means it's SO much easier to optimise your site to get found. You know you're attracting your ideal client then.
What do you love most about your job?
Helping people. It's cheesy, it's a stock answer but I get most value out of helping people achieve their goals.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love playing with tech. I've been a tech for 15 years and recently moved in to the Technical Architecture space. I have that really delicate job of translating user needs in to tech talk for those that build it. Given I used to be one of the camp who used to build it, I miss that. I've brought my varied skill set to launching BrisTechTonic so I can get value by doing it all!
