After purchasing my wedding dress I had a clear vision of what I wanted for my hair and makeup. I can be very self conscious/critical so getting someone else to do my hair and makeup gave me that extra confidence on the day. I spent many hours looking for the right person online, taking recommendations from friends etc. Zoey is amazing, her skill level was really tested as I wanted something different for my hair and she achieved it without extensions, and took on board all my ideas. She uses bare minerals which was great as both Mothers have skin conditions that weren't irritated by the make up at all. The makeup is light, breathable and made it through a very hot Easter weekend wedding without any need to top up. I also love the fact that the makeup allowed me to look the best version of myself. Zoey recently did my hair and makeup as well as my maid of honours, 3 bridesmaids, mum and flower girls for my wedding. She ia absolutely incredible at what she does and made us all feel amazing and we all had so many compliments on our hair and makeup. To me, bridal hair is equally as important as the wedding dress - get it wrong and it can ruin the whole look! With this in mind, I was extremely nervous about having my hair pinned up and wanted to make sure my bridesmaids were 100% happy with their hairstyle. Zoey exceeded my expectations - she is a perfectionist but most of all listens to what you want. She came to the venue as a hairdresser and left as a friend. A wonderful experience from the very first moment! Zoey and Holly did all my bridesmaids hair for my wedding on the 5th August. The girls looked stunning and received numerous compliments throughout the day/eve. My mum and I also got our make up done which was natural and elegant and which lasted the whole day. Both ladies were true professionals and lovely to have around on my wedding morning. I first met Zoey in 2014 when a bridesmaid at my sister-in-laws wedding, then recommended her for my sisters wedding in 2015 and I had her for my bridal party this New Year. On all 3 occasions Zoey has managed to squeeze in at least 8 gorgeous hair dos of all different styles, in a very short amount of time. Zoey is very professional and can reproduce any style from a photo and quick discussion about what each person wants. She is great fun and fits into any group of people with ease, which really kept me calm on the morning of my wedding. I can't thank her enough for the beautiful vintage hairstyle she created for me for our Great Gatsby themed day, I am very fussy when it comes to having my hair done, but she exceeded my expectations!! You patiently and calmly listened and offered some brilliant variations that completely worked. I appreciate the time and effort you put in and the result was more perfect than I could ever have imagined. I got married on 2nd January at the Alma Inn, Laneshawbridge. Zoey did hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaid and makeup for another seven friends. She was so accommodating - even when I kept adding to the numbers for makeup right up to the last minute! She did a brilliant job and was so friendly and easy to talk to. I got married just over a month ago now and Zoey was kind enough to do the make up for myself, my bridesmaids, mum and mother in law. She made us all feel like we'd known her for years, she was so lovely and made us look gorgeous. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better makeup artist. She was able to add a bridesmaid at the last minute when they decided they wanted their makeup doing professionally and she was incredibly nice to us when we were asking endless makeup questions. My friend got married a year ago and her makeup and her bridesmaids makeup looked amazing, natural but flawless. They all highly recommended Zoey. I contacted Zoey and from the start was really accommodating and welcoming when me and my mum went for hair and makeup trial....we loved it, and got many comments throughout that day. Zoey came on the morning of my wedding 2 weeks ago, the girls loved her straight away. Zoey did my makeup, 5x bridesmaids and mother of the bride. She also did all our hair and did 2x flower girls and my mother in law. We were all completely transformed. I have never looked so beautiful, Zoey made the morning getting ready so special. I speak on behalf of us all when I say she is amazing. The hair an makeup stayed all day to the small hours of the morning, in fact some of the girls still had there hair up for breakfast the next morning. I got married a week before Christmas at the Alma Inn and hired Zoe to do hair and makeup on the day for myself, my sisters and my 2 flower girls. I did not have a hair and makeup trial due to timing which made me feel a bit nervous but I spoke to Zoe many times regarding both before the wedding day which helped put me at ease.When the day arrived I showed Zoe pictures of the hair style I wanted and she did it perfect, it looked the same as the picture!!! Both My hair and makeup were amazing felt like a princess!! Zoey came out to the Alma Inn last month to do my wedding makeup and my sisters hair and makeup. We had previously had a make up practice at home as we had never used Bare Minerals before. I have never had flawless skin and had normally used Estee Lauder for maximun coverage. When Zoey had done her magic with the Bare Minerals, I was absolutely amazed. I really didn't think it would make my skin look amazing and flawless.I couldn't believe how good it looked.The wedding makeup, as before, was amazing. I felt so beautiful and the makeup stayed perfect all day and evening. All I needed to touch up was my lip colour - well you do get a lot of kisses when you are the bride!!! These ladies are excellent at what they do. I had my hair and make up done for my wedding and my bridesmaid and mother in law had theirs done too. So professional and did just such a great job. Even helped me into my dress and laced me up as we had spent too much time drinking champagne and not enough time getting dressed. Make up is great for all skin types even sensitive.
