We are a husband and wife team based in South Devon, however we work UK and worldwide.

We had Andy and Nic do our wedding photography for our special day in June 2019. We really wanted both candid and romantic pictures, Andy and Nic provided the perfect mixture of both. We now have pictures that captured the most special and intimate moments of the day and memories that will last a lifetime. How could we possibly describe how amazing Bouchard photography are? They could not do enough for us. With regular messages and contact to make sure they knew exactly what we wanted. They made both of us feel so comfortable from the very beginning and just added to the best day of our lives. Just a note to say thank you so much to Andy & Nic for providing a fantastic service at our wedding on the 20 September 2014.
Arranging our wedding from Australia was a large task, however the communication and assistance received from Andy and Nic throughout was excellent, which made the whole process easy!
Andy and Nic are a personable couple and were able to make everyone feel at ease when being photographed. It was a pleasure having them at our wedding and their professionalism definitely contributed to our day being a perfect and enjoyable day. Everyone felt at ease and the end result was the most beautiful photos.

Bouchard Wedding Photography were an absolutely amazing team and we couldn't have asked for a more professional and thoughtful pair of photographers. They went above and beyond; meeting with us before the wedding (and providing an extensive check list and ideas on their blog) to ensure that we knew what we wanted and then that they knew exactly what we wanted on the day. On our big day, again it couldn't have gone smoother, from capturing the morning getting ready all the way to boogying on the dance floor in the evening! They had everything covered!! Our guests all commented on how lovely they were and the Bouchards made sure that no one felt intruded upon when snapping candid photos. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
A great photograph is dependent on many different factors, light, background, situation, emotion and subject but we find that capturing spontaneous moments when a couple are not concentrating on having their photograph taken to be the best and most moving images.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
We will want to know the date, time and location of your wedding to begin with. We will then ask you many more detailed questions about your day, what you want covering and what is most important to you. It would be great of we could meet in person before your wedding and if possible visit your venue, but f thats not possible we can have a chat via Skype or on the phone.
What do you love most about your job?
We are in a very privileged position, we have a view that no one else in the wedding has and that is straight down the lens so we see the raw emotion and love in the moment you say I do, and that is a wonderful way to spend our day.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We love taking photographs and we love weddings, combining the two was a natural move. We began purely by accident many years ago when asked to photograph a friends wedding and then we have gone from strength to strength purely on our couples recommendations to their friends. We have now quit the rat race in London and moved to Devon with our little boy with a view to make wedding photography a full time venture.
Why should our clients choose you?
We offer relaxed and unintrusive wedding photography. Everything we do is for you, we wont try and make you do anything that you don't want to. It is our job to capture your day in the way that you wish.
