I had a young chap who did excellent work on my Garden over the course of the weekend not only did he do a splendid job but also removed all garden waste. What do you love most about your job?
Working in the fresh air, and getting hands-on with nature.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Lockdown! I have often thought about being my own boss, but never had the motivation or willpower to take a punt and go it alone. Once the safety net of a full-time job has been removed courtesy of lockdown, furlough and subsequent redundancy, starting your own business becomes less of a punt and more of a necessity.
Why should our clients choose you?
We endeavour to provide local services to local people. As a small business, our reputation means a great deal, and word of mouth travels fast. Our customers can be assured that they will receive a great service, if for no other reason than, if they didn't, we wouldn't be trading for long!
We have regular discounts for customers in our local postcode area (G72), plus a great discount scheme for referring friends and neighbours.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Our services are generally carried out outdoors, where the risk of infection is reduced. We require our staff to stick to the 2-metre rule when interacting with our customers. Our staff are required to wear masks should they need to enter a customers property (for example, to use the bathroom upon invitation).
Our vehicles and tools are regularly disinfected to reduce the risk of contamination.
Hedge Trimming
We can trim your overgrown hedge to size, and mulch/chip any waste.
Like most of our services, we aim to provide a price per square metre, using the surface area of the hedge.
Shaping/sculpting can be done upon request for an additional fee.
We always aim to leave a tidy work area before we leave any site.
lawn mowing
We can mow your overgrown lawn, or provide a regular lawn care and treatment service.
All prices quoted include edging. Price is for labour only, and materials such as lawn feed will attract an additional cost to cover materials, where the customer is not providing such materials.
Like most of our services, we aim to provide a price per square metre.
Cuttings will be deposited in your council provided green waste bin.
Topiary (Shrub trimming)
Price quoted is per shrub. Price will depend upon the dimension of the shrub(s) to be cut.
We aim to mulch/chip any cuttings, and can compost or deposit in your council provided waste bin.
