An amazing 9 hole golf course and well worth going round twice. Apart from being very attractive, great green now, it will give you a good test. I'm going back as it kick my butt last time. Really nice wide, tree lined fairways. You just can't see that off the tees, a very good designed course...... Honest. More...

Mr Owens, I am sorry that your visit to Birtley was a negative one, but as you are aware, my concerns were that you were claiming a "pinched nerve in your neck" was the reason for you sharing out of one bag, when due to my observations you appeared to be swinging quite vigorously, but with no real skill whatsoever, and the damage to the course was quite severe due to the amount of large divots you were hacking out. It is not my intention to engage in a spat of insults, but is intended to re-iterate the personal offer I made on the day, if, as I suspected on the day, you are indeed new to trying the wonderful game of golf, please contact me through Birtley Golf Club and I will gladly take you into our practice area and teach you the modern training exercises used by most coaches to give you a start to what I hope might be a long and enjoyable life with golf.If,on the other hand you are indeed an existing golfer with injuries, please accept my sincere apologies.The Seniors Section Captain.
