We asked Billy to weed kill our drive and patios and to do a few maintenance jobs. The latter he did quite well but the weed killing was a disaster…he walked weed killer over our lawn which in time, left footprints of dead grass. His equipment also leaked a trail over the lawn which looked awful all summer - it really looked like someone had played an awful joke on us! He offered to reseed the lawn but it was mid-summer by then and too hot, but it was agreed that he’d return in the autumn. End of August I reminded him that the lawn needed repairing. He came to view it on two occasions but never actually implemented any repairs. On several occasions he said he’d be along the following week to do the work but never turned up. Billy has the gift of the gab, but unfortunately doesn’t fulfil his promises. Some of his work was ok but he’s clearly not a gardener, not understanding that weed killer is systemic and that lawns can really only be successfully seeded in spring and autumn. We’ve now got to wait till next year to implement repairs to the lawn. Bill’s work cost a lot of money but has been of a very poor standard and we’re hugely disappointed … unfortunately he’s done more damage than good! More...

I will not work for someone who demands more work than agreed and threatens with leaving bad reviews if I do not complete as for the weed killer ironic that the place is you say is not where it was sprayed i pity the poor people that have to suffer working for you vile people who use their wealth to manipulate the Working Man

Highly recommend. From first to last Bill did an outstanding job. He was in touch within half an hour, round to vie the job within a couple of hours, and able and offered to start the next working day. Consistently quick, polite, and knowledgeable communication. The job was to clear my garden of one huge slab of concrete, random other concrete blocks, bricks, large stones, paving slabs, gravel, a mass of wood, and various related rubbish that has no place in a garden. That done, to remove a knackered conifer, to prune a large bay tree, and odds and ends to get the garden to a state where I could begin to plan and manage it. I am employed Bill to clear a desperately overgrown garden and clear an old shed plus fill in an old pond and re-turf. He responded to my bark quickly and turned up the next day to offer advice and provide a quote.
He was very knowledgeable and advised that we remove a poisonous tree. His quote was very competitive and he was able to start straight away. He worked quickly and carefully, turning a crowded and dark garden into a beautiful open and bright space. He was polite and respectful throughout and even visited our neighbour to clear the branches that had landed in their garden.
I highly recommend Bill and have already commissioned more work with him.

Very impressed by the quick response and the hard work of both Bill and his helper Alan in inclement weather. They turned up on time and cleared up at the end of the day. They moved heaven and earth to help us out when we were in difficulties. In one day, they planted 17 large trees and replanted as many shrubs into other parts of the garden. Bill's charge was fair and there were no hidden extras. We are now planning the next stage of our garden and will certainly contact them again for their help.
