We went to Bill & Betty tea rooms today for the first time for their Harry Potter Inspired afternoon tea and have to say it was amazing. such a gorgeous place with delightful and welcoming staff. The attention to detail for the theme was absolutely beautiful and it was so nice to have the opportunity to go round and take some photos while enjoying our lovely food. I contacted Jayne on Thursday to see if she could do a platter of sandwiches etc for my Mum’s 70th birthday on the Sunday! Fantastic tea room. Best afternoon tea I’ve ever had. Nothing is too much trouble. Being a vegetarian who is allergic to mayonnaise and eggs it’s too often you end up with boring sandwiches, but NOT at Bill & Betty’s so many lovely sandwiches on the afternoon tea and the cakes and scones are amazing. What an amazing festive afternoon! I booked for myself and my mummy friends to come with our babies all around 8 months old. We had the festive afternoon tea which was delicious. We asked for the backroom so we had room for our buggies and it was beautifully decorated like the rest of the shop/cafe. Some of the mum's needed dairy free and this was no problem with amazing substitutes provided such as dairy free cheese crackers and chocolate reindeer brownies. Nothing is ever too much to ask for Jayne and her team cannot recommend highly enough. If there was an option for 10 stars I would give it. I organised a baby shower for my daughter here on 9/6/18 and I'm so glad I chose Bill & Betty! There were 12 of us and we had a little room at the back that was beautifully decorated. It was cosy but that meant we could all speak to each other at the table. I had taken a few decorations but tbh you would probably only need to take balloons! The food was gorgeous and plentiful and catered extremely well for two of our party who were veggie and vegan. Came to Bill and Betty's for Afternoon Tea yesterday. Booked a table online and made mention in passing it was my lovely nanas 83rd birthday. On arrival we'd been allocated a lovely table in the beautifully decorated back room, which had been dressed with Birthday bunting. The table had a lovely handwritten chalkboard on wishing my nana a happy birthday. Such a lovely warm welcome �
What can I say about the food - absolutely delicious! By far the best afternoon tea we have had in a long time. There was plenty of food and everything tasted so fresh and homemade - the scones were to die for �
